Whoever scores more points will win the game.
Unless we don't score more points, but we gain more yards.
Then they should change the rule after the fact to be based on yards gained.
It's not fair to base it on points, even if that's the rule when the game started, and has been the rule for 100 years.

all depends on Speight. I think we have enough pieces to win the national championship with a fully healthy team but without Newsome and Speight, it's really hurting us. I'd love to be wrong but I see 2013/2014 MSU as our game next week if O Korn plays.

My only thought is that against teams that had a defense, OSU has struggled: Indiana, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Northwestern.
Against teams with no defense, they dominated: BG, Oklahoma, Tulsa, Rutgers, and Maryland.
The two abberations are Nebraska (supposed defense) and MSU (no defense), where their performace—for various reasons—was inverted.
Michigan has a great defense. I certainly fear this game, but I don't see a bad outcome being anything like last year. I do see a defensive struggle. Michigan 17, OSU 13.

There is only one problem with that logic, it it applies to us as well.
OSU defense is the best defense we have faced (yes, including Wisconsin)

Michigan and Ohio State are basically the same team. Both have excellent defenses, both offenses have struggled against good defenses, both have excellent coaches...only difference is Michigan lost their starting QB and the game is on the road. Michigan is going to need a small handful of things to go their way to win this game.

Now THAT's something to worry about

I'm sorry (I Like Burgers) but you are kind of just throwing obvious shit out and playing it safe with it. Have you watched the buckeyes this year? Their defense isn't elite. They have been gashed by teams with descent running attacks like Wisconsin, Sharty and Penn State. If Speight plays, the deep ball threat is there and while Peppers is getting rotated in at half back or slot, you have a pretty dynamic and lethal offense right there. Penn State and Wisconsin don't come close to it. This game is in the books if the defense gets to Barrett early and gets their hits on him. That's all it's going to take. Just watch folks!

That doesn't mean that I think U-M will necessarily win, but I don't see a blowout either way.

You youngsters or really your grand children will have to start worrying. Sea levels will not become dangerous until 2080 or later. I have no worries since I know Michigan will beat OSU.

OSU has scored something like 63, 63 and 16/17 whatever they scored yesterday. As i've said all along - It comes down to which OSU team shows up next Saturday... The one that beat Oklahoma, Nebraska etc, or the one that struggled vs PSU, Wiscy, NW etc. We can beat one of the versions but the other may be the best team in college football. Weird shit going on with them.
