Well, you pay for higher quality. That's usually how it goes in this world.

Restaurants? I don't have time for that shit.

Yeah, you're just such a busy and important person.

Our tailgate does not end until it's dark out, even for noon games.

So why not just eat at the tailgate instead of dropping $6 or however much it is for a hot dog in the stadium?

My dad has an MGoBlog account

take a few shots at tailgate no matter the time of day. As for food:
Noon kickoff: Ribeye and eggs on grill with bacon.
3:30 kickoff: Burgers and dogs on the grill, potato salad and chips
Why? M wins when I eat these before the games. Does what I eat on the golf course have a real effect on the game? Absolutely.

Harbaugh would approve. Have yourself a nice big glass of whole milk and you're good to go.
August 19th, 2016 at 12:34 PM ^
why don't you eat that for every game? Also, bone-in?
August 19th, 2016 at 1:10 PM ^
I do the ribeye with baked potato and steamed broccoli.
Tailgate bone out (so I don't have to worry about disposal) but at home, bone in because the MGoPitbull loves ribeye bones.

Pulled pork sandwich and lemonade. Occasonal hot chocolate on a cold day. Unless I feel like we need a change in luck, then I go back to the hot dogs I got during our glory years.

I get the big ass coke... to go with the airplane bottles of captain I bring in.

In the late 90s there was a Greek family who had a spot where they sold sausages and chicken sandwiches with onions and peppers. I wonder if they are still there somewhere.
August 19th, 2016 at 12:20 PM ^
A couple hot dogs and a coke are normal to get before playing an easier opponent.
But if it's a big game, I'm usually too nervous to eat anything for fear of making myself sick. And that also applies to when I'm watching the game from home.
August 19th, 2016 at 12:22 PM ^
I go inside when the gates open. Every game. Down by the tunnel to watch warmups.
I eat before the game so I'm not bothered with that during.
August 19th, 2016 at 12:20 PM ^
i'm talking soda, kettlecorn, pizza, nachos, hotdogs, and hoagies...damn now i want a mr spots hoagie...just think of it as part of the cost of admission
August 19th, 2016 at 12:32 PM ^
Yeah, you do that at leisurely activities.
Michigan Athletics are not leisurely activities. Serious business.

Worth it. Although, as much as I love Spots, it is more of a Hockey post-game meal for me.

Eh I don't care. As long as it's food that tastes good and I don't get sick, I don't care where or what it comes from.
I'm a big fan of the Speedway hot dogs. Great deal.

But they're so good though.
August 19th, 2016 at 1:03 PM ^
who bought those. Now I know.
August 19th, 2016 at 1:05 PM ^
Because by any stretch of the English language, they're categorically not good.

I'm telling you, they're good. People judge before trying or even seeing something.
The pizza at Speedway is really good also. Great place to get a cheap lunch during work as there's one near where I work.
Two hot dogs and a coke zero for $3.75
