I do not miss that man.

I hope he does well. Oregon's defense was so awful last year that it's hard to go anywhere but up.

"At the end of the day"? Pretty sure you're supposed to be doing your coaching during the day.

In fact, in the article photo he's still donning the blue (& yellow) despite the jacket bearing an OU logo. Gotta love that about the guy.
Hoke was being interviewed on Sirius College Radio earlier today for Pac-10 media days...still talking about 'hearing football'.
I think D-coordinator is actually a decent fit for him; HC for a team expecting to be perennial top 10 was just too much of a stretch. Best of luck to Coach Hoke; both UM and Hoke are in better positions today.

in 2011 when he took over and turned into a relatively competent unit over time - but that one year turnaround from '10-'11 iirc was one of the biggest jumps for one unit ever (or at least since people started paying attention to such granular stats).....if nothing else, he brought in greg mattison, who is still paying dividends. the headset thing is also going to be interesting, no way around teeing up a punchline by raising it, but will still be very telling once he is sporting it in a couple of weeks

Maybe, Brady. But then again, maybe not?
