The women's team beat San Diego, 78-51 to get to the NIT quarterfinals. They play the winner of Thursday's matchup between Temple and Ohio.

I know - it's just the NIT. But it is good to have some good news in basketball in late March. It also brings the women's team to 20 wins.
A victory is a victory. Go Women! Go Blue!

I'd prefer there be zero Michigan players with 700+ points next season. The team's best games this season came when they got balanced scoring. They lost more than one of the games in which Flaherty scored 30+.

It's also based on which school is willing to pony up the money required by the organizers to host a game.

They can't host the final if they get that far because it's scheduled for the same day (April 2) as the NCAA women's gymnastics regional being held at Crisler.
