M will adjust to the loss of RG. The dude is a badass mountain man and only having one week to adjust with a high tempo team, that has pushed everyone to the brink, was a perfect storm. Yet somehow they weathered it.
The contrast between this coaching staff and previous is stark. I expect adjustments to take hold for PSU which is not nearly as scary as IU on O side. Plus, Rudock and the receiver's confidence should be way up now.
Not sure if it is the libations, but feeling better about next week already.

Today's poor rush D performance was not due solely to the absence of Glasgow. We flat out weren't ready for the fast tempo, the D-line was on their heels the majority of the time the ball was snapped. We also played 6 in the box the majority of the night, Harbaugh and Co. obviously game planned Sudfeld as a greater threat than Howard.

I think that even Durkin was stunned with the pace and talent that IU has. I suspect we won't be underrestimating any of our remaining opponents.

Durkins level of coordinating/coaching prowess and with the amount of film available from IUs previous games? Stunned? Really? If our coaches are supperior, that means that they are better at preparing players not to EVER underestimate opponents. No offense meant toward you. I just can not comprehend Power 5 coaches with our coaches level of experience and prowess evaluating film and game plannin being 'stunned'. That kind of mindset tells me we were outcoached? Were we outcoached? Are we that close talent wise relative to Indiana? Have injuries caught up with us? Lack of depth and subsequently having to play many defensive snaps? How is there such a disperity in the OL pass protect vs run blocking?

in position to tie it up at 34 all and scored 4TDs against MSU (missed XP & failed 2pt attempt).
Indiana put up 479 yds of total offense against us in regulation, but also put up 402 against OSU and 389 against MSU, so they can be very good.
Finally, it's not like Indiana was fooling us there at the end. They were lining up and running over us. Either Godin needs to get better in a hurry (possible for someone who sees his first significant PT, less so for someone who's been playing a decent amount).

Losing one player does not ruin a defense. PSU doesn't have the line to take advantage of this anyway.

Well I didn't say it was a positive, but this team should be able to beat PSU regardless. OSU was always going to be a likely loss given the difference in talent.
