Its sort of hard to watch anything else for like an hour after a game like that. Will check back later.

I can't watch anymore football today. That was exhausting.

My wife is working so I had to pause the game after Indiana went up 34-27 to put our two boys to bed (1yo and 3yo). It takes forever to do bathtime, books, and then story time. The Chad Carr story made me realize how trivial sports is to the more important things in life. Well just got out and long story short I peaked to find out the score.
Right now I'm watching at 2:43 left in 4Q.
November 14th, 2015 at 8:08 PM ^
I'll tape B1G in 60 and save myself the time if I feel like rewatching.
I always put an extra 30 on the DVR, but I'm sure that didn't get the entire game.

Because I can start drinking and not give a fuck about what's on the TV.
My nerves are SHOT.
After that last play I just folded and fell to the ground ever so gently.

Arkansas up 14-0 already
Oregon up 7-3 and had stopped Stanford with a 3 and out until they cmmitted a dumbass penalty
November 14th, 2015 at 8:09 PM ^
Last year we were 5-5 after week 10 and had just won the last game we would win for the rest of the season. The MOON game.
Tonight I am very joyful!

my post at 3:36pm
I do NOT like the feeling of this game.
Defense needs to dominate and Rudock is going to have to play his best game of the year. This is the game where we need Rudock to be great rather than just average. Carry us to victory Jake. Just one game!

notwithstanding, I'd like to play Stanford in the Rose. Hogan + MacCaffrey is fun to watch. My cardiologist would probably not approve though.

Go Ducks. Looks like Oregon's demise may have been greatly exaggerated.
November 14th, 2015 at 8:15 PM ^
Yeah, too tired for actual commentary, but I think I like Oregon's uniforms tonight and I'm generally excited for uniformz2016

ND's Temple win is not looking very good right now. 21-10 USF.
November 14th, 2015 at 8:17 PM ^
Also want BYU to keep winning. Currently down 3-0 in the 1st
November 14th, 2015 at 8:17 PM ^
but led by their man-coach, the Cowboys came back to win 35-31, scoring the go-ahead TD w/ just over 3 minutes left.
November 14th, 2015 at 8:17 PM ^
I want them to lose but know it's good for us to see them win. Even if we don't see them this year, seems like an actually good Iowa could boost the Big Ten profile and increase our odds of making the playoff next year

They showed a luxury box at the LSU/Arkansas game, Only two people were in it.
Jeff Long the Arkansas AD and Bret Bielema's wife. They were sitting about 5 rows apart and she looked bored out of her mind. Really weird.

Strangely enough, I am going to use football - games which don't take months off my life - as a destressor here. Also, the Baylor-Oklahoma game is a perfect time to finally eat dinner as I find myself unable to do that during 3:30 PM games, perhaps the only disadvantage to them when it comes to my routine.
That's all dependent on whether or nto ABC will let me, of course. Like those 2-3 minutes in our own game, I am getting the dance mix of this offensive drive on my screen.

Strange LSU TD. Thrown to a guy standing at the goal line. He deflected it to a guy crossing the back line. Now Arkansas leads 21-7
November 14th, 2015 at 8:57 PM ^
FWIW - something called "South Florida" is beating Fig Things best win 31-10. At half. Great resume ND.

November 14th, 2015 at 9:10 PM ^
And Temple will no longer be ranked. ND is that mid major college basketball team that plays road games against teams in the 100-150 range, meaning teams that make you look good SOS wise, but that you really have little to know chance of losing to.
November 14th, 2015 at 9:07 PM ^
So TCU & Baylor were screwed last year because they had no conference title game, but the committee is telling me that Notre Dame not only can get in without a conference title game but they can also lose one of their pseudo-conference games and be in.
I will light up my torch, grab my pitchfork, and join the angry Big 12 mobs if they get in.
November 14th, 2015 at 9:55 PM ^
happening too. ohio state didn't deserve last year. The rankings are meaningless, at the end of it all they just grab who they want and think about how much money they can generate. ohio state is way more popular than Baylor/TCU. ND will get in if they can get them in somehow.
They would try their hardest to get a 1 loss ohio state team in as well.
November 14th, 2015 at 10:08 PM ^
That's the stupid part. If it's 1-loss ND vs. a 1-loss Big 12 champ for the #4 spot, ND will probably get the nod unless it's Oklahoma.
OTOH, if fanbase and TV ratings do matter, I will fully support it when Michigan steals a #4 spot.
November 14th, 2015 at 10:14 PM ^
that could work in Michigan's favor if they can get there.
If it wasn't for that Clemson loss ND would be a shoe in regardless of the Stanford game I would imagine.
November 14th, 2015 at 8:57 PM ^
So, we need Oregon, ARK, Baylor, IOWA to win?
November 14th, 2015 at 8:58 PM ^
Like the playing cards with the big numbers for the old people?
November 14th, 2015 at 9:01 PM ^
Leidner with a nice TD throw. 14-14.
