META: #LoseYourDignityWithAce
After the doxxing of Ace's ska history, it's time to stand in solidarity with Ace in his loss of dignity. I'll start the proceedings by posting this image of yours truly dressed as Biff Tannen from Back to the Future:
Post something embarrassing so Ace isn't the only one. If you put it on twitter, tag it with #LoseYourDignityWithAce.

I'll put it here and hopefully have some luck. What is a ska band, exactly?
October 6th, 2015 at 12:02 PM ^
Gah! Don't you even know dignity when you see it?

Who wants to see me shaved?
October 6th, 2015 at 12:09 PM ^
Who gets to pick the MGoBarber? If the answer is me, I definitely do.
October 6th, 2015 at 12:33 PM ^
Sure!

You'll get all the lady koalas with either a full body Carlos Spicyweiner mustache or seductive Rappin Randle lyrics shaved into your koala body.

I didn't know you were Rich Rod's daughter.

I don't know what's worse. The hair that was pretty much covering my left eye at that point or those ridiculous tan lines on my arms/wrist I got from football practice.
October 6th, 2015 at 1:24 PM ^
Probably the fanny pack.
October 6th, 2015 at 3:00 PM ^
The hair. While I too once sported long locks I'll never understand why tweener boys like to wear long hair. I suppose I did at one time but that knowledge has been lost to the ages.

A fellow MGoBlogger was there (and also singing along).

I don't even know what this is. Does that cause me to lose some of my dignity?
October 6th, 2015 at 2:24 PM ^
Quite the contrary-- you're a better person for it.
October 6th, 2015 at 12:25 PM ^
I don't know what that is...but something tells me I might be better off for it.

If you ever need an hour of feels, but slow jamz aren't your thing, close all the blinds, soundproof your walls, then give it a go.

I will confess that I've done the same thing.
Also watched Taking Back Sunday Live from Orensanz. Great show for those who were into the pop-emo scene in the mid-00s.
October 6th, 2015 at 2:32 PM ^
While it's very rare that I dip into the Dashboard well these days, rarely does a month pass without turning to Taking Back Sunday while driving in traffic.

Now that I'm married, it just feels weird to listen to TBS and Brand New and all the bands I listened to while locked in my room obsessing/crying about girls who are not now my wife.
But every once in a while, I partake. I can see how TBS would make for good traffic tunes.
October 6th, 2015 at 3:17 PM ^
That's pretty understandable. My wife is less than enthralled when I pull out a TBS cover around the campfire, though the 30ish crowd almost always seems to enjoy it.
October 6th, 2015 at 4:14 PM ^
That is a phenomenal idea and I can't believe I've never done it. Although, I'd be surprised if any of the 30ish crowd that I hang out with would recognize it.
Weather's getting good for campfires...will try this ASAP. My wife will undoubtedly say something along the lines of "is this one of your screaming crying cutting songs?"
October 6th, 2015 at 4:50 PM ^
Cute without the E:

repeat ad naseum. doesn't getting any more screaming crying cutting than that!

Why exactly is it embarassing that Ace played in a ska band?
And if it is, here's my entry. I still regularly listen to this album, and I think it's one of the catchiest albums ever written.

I like John Mayer too. Thought he was Dad music. But I guess some people under 30 like Mayer too. I know my daughter does.
