I don't think this will be a close one. But I have been wrong before.

The entire game comes down to how much the WR suspensions and injuries hurt OSU. 4 of their top 5 WRs are out for the game. Players who were QBs a month ago (Miller, Gibson) will be getting snaps, and as we saw on Thursday night, it takes more than natural talent to run routes correctly, and the consequences of running a route imprecisely can be devastating. They'll be playing redshirt freshman who have almost zero game experience extensively.
If the WRs are okay, it's not a game. If they don't perform well enough, it might get very interesting.

OSU loses by 14+. BKFinest it.

a huge swing for you to be correct.

Should be a great game...I expect a lot of offense.

#1 They haven't played...how do you know there offense is worse than Michigan last year.
#2 Their offense last year wasn't even worse than Michigan last year.
September 7th, 2015 at 8:03 PM ^
Virginia Tech is 3 spots worse than Michigan in S&P and 11 spots worse than Michigan in FEI. They're really bad.
Virginia Tech: 93 in FEI and 85 in S&P+
Michigan is 82 in FEI and 82 in S&P+
You're wrong that Michigan was worse than VT. Plus Loeffler has never been able to coordinate a good offense and they currently don't have draftable prospects (at least from the upperclassmen).

That's why you should never jump out of your skin to be that guy that corrects other people. Some things you just gotta let go.

Exact same shot that showed Rudock with the 1's and Morris waiting with the 2nd team for our game.

Ohio State QBs just finished snapping drills with the centers. Cardale Jones and J.T. Barrett each took snaps with starting center Jacoby Boren. Jones went first.
September 7th, 2015 at 8:46 PM ^
Oh well...Cardale's playing well, can't fault the choice.

But in all seriousness, I think VaTech keeps this close for a quarter or so with all the emotion coming into this game, but Meyer will have Elliott run it right down their throats. OSU wins by at least 3 TDs.

OSU won't be able to run it down their throats if Va Tech can manage single coverage the entire game.

lol Urban literally gave the same answer Harbaugh did about the reason for the decision.
We took a look at all the data, who was playing the most consistent, yadda yadda.
September 7th, 2015 at 7:39 PM ^
It is going to be tough for Va Tech to win this one. They caught them at the best time last year. Their QBs have more experience now. We will see. God. How I wish M would repeat what OSU did last year.
September 7th, 2015 at 7:38 PM ^
I've heard quite a few people say they want to see osu go undefeated until The Game, so we can ruin their season. In theory that sounds great, but I just can't bring myself to cheer for those window-lickers.
September 7th, 2015 at 7:40 PM ^
Even if they lose this one, they still can turn the table until our game with a shot to go to the playoffs. So, yeah. I would love for them to lose this game and then turn the table until our game.
September 7th, 2015 at 7:51 PM ^
Any time we beat them it runis their season.
Might as well have Va Tech beat them as well.
September 7th, 2015 at 7:53 PM ^
But if it happens, it happens. 2006 was the only time I "hoped" OSU wouldn't lose their game right before they played us.

I just spent the last two days in Columbus. The inbreds were tailgating outside the Horseshoe today even though tonight's game is not at home.
I fear OSU is going to win this game easily. It would do my heart good to see them struggle at all tonight. Their schedule is a virtual cakewalk after tonight until the second week of November.
If they win by 40 tonight, someone just pull the trigger and put me out of my misery.
September 7th, 2015 at 7:53 PM ^
I fear they are going to do an Alabama >>> Wisconsin on Va Tech. Would be quite happy to be wrong.
September 7th, 2015 at 7:54 PM ^
I doubt they get the same good QB play if they were in Madison. They might have won, but it would have been a lot closer.
