I'm having a bit of trouble posting a pick of my well-loved maize & . . brown thong.
+1, that was nice.
There is no ugly M Gear!!!!!
It's all beautiful....
This.
to check your mailbox.
Do they come in sizes for squirrels....
With apologies to the people (lots of Ann Arbor townie types, it seems) who love and cherish them, I find almost all Michigan gear that's maize 'n blue 'n white pretty unappealing. Samples:
I also call b/s...you're pulling up stuff that was in style 20 years ago and calling it ugly now. That's cheating.
All of these were "in style" in the early/mid 90s.
That doesn't mean they're not ugly now.
But a bunch of shit from 20 years ago is ugly now...it's cheating.
And I could easily see starter jackets come back, everything goes in cycles. Just like the high top fade that is back now. Just like the mohawk goes in and out. Skinny jeans to baggy jeans to skinny.
In 5 years kids could be wearing these again and people think they're the coolest thing ever.
But that's besides the point, taking someone old is cheating, IMO. No one is wearing it now. Do better.
If I remember it correctly, I had the same shirt although mine was a gift from a relative who thought I would wear just anything Michigan apparently regardless of how flattering it would look on me. I know I wore it to be kind for a time immediately after they presented it to me, then somehow it got wine on it...also chicken marsala. Funny how life works.
In the 90s I had a sweatshirt with maize on the sleeves that was kinda puffy. It was so ugly, but so damn comfortable.
It is wrong to dis anything Zubaz pants related!
Boo this man.
Just the hat.
Boooooo
You may not like the style of hat, but there's nothing about it that makes it ugly. That's like seeing an ugly car and saying it's ugly because it's blue. No, it's an Aztek or one of those stupid Cube cars...or a PT Crusier with woodgrain on the side. It's ugly, period. It has nothing to do with the color.
Yo mama ugly
I was just looking at hats like that at M Den and thinking they were really cool, that I should get one if Adidas is on the way out.
Also the giant red compass in the background.
was at the bottom since it would look like a piece of shit.
I had that pullover when I was in 5th/6th grade. I actually think it's still in my parents' closet back home. That thing was awesome and soooo stylish back in the day!
I had a starter jacket back in kindergarden the split M on the front I love that jacket.
This is the winner so far. My god. It's horrifying.
