Harbaugh changing the goddamn game up
April 24th, 2015 at 11:14 AM ^
I want to believe that Harbaugh opened up Adobe Illustrator on his office computer and created this flyer himself.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:59 AM ^
That would be awesome, but the man behind all of the cool "edits" is Aaron Bills.
April 24th, 2015 at 12:41 PM ^
all caps UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN and AMERICA has Harbaugh written all over it.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:59 AM ^
He was playin in the beginning but the rules all changed
April 24th, 2015 at 11:05 AM ^
I'm very interested to see if any college coaches from major programs take advantage of this.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:56 AM ^
I really think Les Miles is going to. Closest thing to coaching M he is going to get.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:56 AM ^
Legendary coach Bob Stitt:
@CoachJim4UM I'm in! Thx for the invite!

Is this the fucking announcement?
April 24th, 2015 at 11:06 AM ^
I'm OK with this. It's a better response to the camping backlash than ANYTHING I could have imagined.
The media is already going nuts over it.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:12 AM ^
I have no problem with them doing this. I have a huge problem with them hyping this as a big announcement.

Uh, this is kind of a big move. It's frankly unprecedented in all of college football. And it's a brilliant move too. Puts it right back on all the coaches complaining and puts the NCAA in a bind too, lest they in a publically way really come out and say, "nah, screw the student athletes and something that helps them". Also, it really is setting the bar for Harbaugh and his additude that UM won't back down from anything. Inviting any coach that wants to come to your own camp? That's a pretty big thing I would say.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:59 AM ^
...but I am still guessing that the NCAA will ban these camps, even though they will be great for the HS kids that attend.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:20 AM ^
double

julesh meet pinky.... pinky....say hi to julesh. Sour patch kids...
"but but but I am so pissed that he promised a big announcement at 8 pm and it was just about his dad on a sitcom. waahhhh....unfair to me!"
April 24th, 2015 at 11:20 AM ^
I was expecting something exactly like this.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:05 AM ^
Hey Saban? You know how you are restricted to that 50-mile radius? Well, we found a way around that.
Love this coach.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:13 AM ^
I get to bring two coaches Jim?
April 24th, 2015 at 11:58 AM ^
I'm done posting for awhile. Laptop closed.
Shit, that was money. I don't even want to read the rest of the thread.

I'd like to think that Morgan Freeman really is a civil war vet, and never ages. After all, I've watched Bruce Almighty, so I'm on to his "character."
Bruce Almighty is a biography of Freeman.
I can't tell you who Jim plays, you'll have to read the book.

What is this "Every College" he's referencing? Online school?
April 24th, 2015 at 11:11 AM ^
The University of American Samoa Landcrabs will surely be representing!

Who wouldn't love catching a game in a massage chair while enjoying a vodka + cucumber water cocktail? Don't forget the footbath.

It's not that law school sweatshirt, but they sell a University of American Samoa shirt in the show's official store.
Edit: Looks like this is the actual sweatshirt.
April 24th, 2015 at 12:05 PM ^
The actual version, of course.

I don't know that I would summarily include Derek Mason in Bolivia only because Vanderbilt needs some hope and they've historically not done much (or been able to do much) to hurt anyone from a football standpoint. Still, they are in the SEC, so point taken in that regard - if the Oversigh Committee makes future camps a non-starter because such inequities offend the SEC, then yeah, that whole conference can take a long walk off a short pier.
April 24th, 2015 at 12:58 PM ^
No need to trip those (Vanderbilt), who only seem to trip themselves. It's just astonishing to me for two reasons: 1) The SEC coaches are acutally ticked off about this, I understand why, I'm just choosing to see it as a lack of confidence in their own skill set. 2) The NCAA Oversight Committee has pushed this "hot button" topic to the top of the heap. Because THIS is the problem..... SMH!
April 24th, 2015 at 11:08 AM ^
I see this as Harbs throwing a middle finger up to NCAA. Will Urbs and Douchebag show?
April 24th, 2015 at 11:14 AM ^
I thought Urbs was douchebag? I am so confused now.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:08 AM ^
Awesome. I'm signing off everything from now on with "Sincerely yours in football."

Michigan has gone in less than a year from apologizing to MSU to telling the Sabans and Swinneys of the world to put up or shut up.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:10 AM ^
April 24th, 2015 at 12:51 PM ^
Keynote speakers from SEC schools should get a full 45 seconds for their speech, topped off with a hearty Harbaugh back-slap.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:10 AM ^
Would any possible rule change about camps be subject to a vote by all of the D-I schools? I wonder if some smaller schools would like to get in on these camps. That'd be a great way to swing their votes. It's not like Marshall is going to headline their own camps around the country.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:10 AM ^
I want Harbaugh to succeed as a the head coach here for the obvious reason of loving Michigan football. But now I want him to succeed even more becasue this has been such a great few months with him as coach because he just does not care about what anyone thinks about him and it is amazing.
April 24th, 2015 at 11:22 AM ^
He has a rare and refreshing personality.
