OT: IBD...WTF,O?
Hungry for some alphabet soup today?
With all the news going on 'round deez parts, its unavoidable that some stories will get by some folks and sometimes get posted more than once. That's not my issue.
My issue is with the use of "IBD" on those unfortunate posts. Most of us can tell which posts have staying power and which are more...shall we say....flaccid. The fact that someone posts in there for free points is understandable, but that isn't my issue either.
My challenge to you all is to find a more creative way to post instead of "IBD." That's boring. That takes little to no creativity at all. Come on, MGoBloggers...amaze me. Find something more intelligent and funny than "Uhhh, like...duhhh....IBD, Dude."

"/Drops mic" is way worse than IBD. At least IBD is not some dumb, unimaginative metaphor.

but regardless, the two memes are unrelated.

As an aside to this, one of my father's largest complaints about corporate America (he worked at GM for 37 years) has been the proliferation of acronyms and jargon, and indeed, he often points out that at one point in time - years ago - General Motors actually published a directory of corporate acronyms in common use there, totalling some 240 pages across various departments. I have never asked, but I can only imagine his face whenever my sister or I text using Internet shorthand.

Consider IBD as a MGoUser's way of saying this thread sucks and should be removed. What's the point of retorting with an intelligent post to a stupid thread question or comment?
Unless Joaquin Phoenix can respond to every bad thread, IBD will have to do.
