This has nothing to do with CC.
December 16th, 2014 at 11:46 AM ^
I am the CC... dont forget it.
December 16th, 2014 at 11:48 AM ^
your schtick is played out

Your opinion means so much to me.

John U Bacon now tweeting odds of Harbaugh to UM are going up... so it does seem he is "The CC" considering it's all we have heard for two weeks, but regardless continue with your neg bang.

If you're going to post with such vagueness at least end it right........
December 16th, 2014 at 11:48 AM ^
...Harbaugh?
December 16th, 2014 at 12:46 PM ^
Was it the only factor? Probably not. The fact he chose WVU which is closer to his family in Ohio probably is significant. I'm guessing most of the players really liked Brady Hoke so it wouldn't be surprising if his being let go pushed a few to seek playing time elsewhere.

Any updates from your contact on the West Coast?

That would surprise me only because the Raiders are the worst NFL option IMO he could choose. If true I can only assume this is due more to his family situation (i:e: daughter) than anything else.
December 16th, 2014 at 12:53 PM ^
Didn't somebody on here do some digging and found out the daughter of his ex is in Pennsylvania?
December 16th, 2014 at 2:16 PM ^
not the Raiders. Their defense is terrible and have Cutler to deal with in terms of contract. Or New Orleans Saints with them being in cap space hell.
Raiders at least has some young nucleus with a lot of cap space plus top 5 draft pick. They have Derek Carr, Kalil Mack, Gabe Jackson, Justin Ellis, DJ Hayden, etc.
December 16th, 2014 at 12:28 PM ^
he's not going to the raiders. there's a better chance he works it out with SF than that....

Sucks for him that we have such good depth at the LB position.

I believe he redshirted.
Frustrating loss considering he led his recruiting class. Hope it wasnt due to being RS'd.
December 16th, 2014 at 11:55 AM ^
Gotcha i got him confused with another player. Would be interesting if was because he got RS'd.
December 16th, 2014 at 1:16 PM ^
Leaving because you redshirted doesn't make any sense. It's already happened. It's not like they can redshirt you again next year.

seems a bit weak too.

Even on a week day.

Wow. Considering how early he decided for M and how he was a class leader with all the t-shirts, etc and how important education was to him, this is really surprising after just one semester....or was he an EE?

bikini model avatar....also very mature
December 16th, 2014 at 11:46 AM ^
This seems odd to me, he was the kid leading the class recruiting with the t-shirts and everything just a year or so ago and now a transfer, strange. I wonder what the story behind this is. But whatever the reason, good luck to the kid.
December 16th, 2014 at 12:28 PM ^
Take this FWIW, but he was in my giant EECS 183 lecture on north campus towards the begining of the semester. He always sat at the back by himself and never looked happy. And they changed how 183 is run this year so it was not a fun class to be in at all. But I noticed after about a month I would never see him in lecture anymore. Maybe he dropped the class, but thats not a fun way to start your education at U of M. Also wonder why he was in the lecture on north campus, considering how far that is from south campus and all. This is all spectulative but thats just my cool story bro. Anyways, Im sad to see him go. Wish him the best at WVU
December 16th, 2014 at 11:46 AM ^
I don't think this is that ominous. He is buried on a depth chart that is mighty impressive. I don't mean that in a disparraging way, I just don't think we should freak out yet.
December 16th, 2014 at 12:33 PM ^
He's a freshman about to be a redshirt freshman and most of our linebackers are upperclassmen. He is also the highest rated of linebackers in his age group and there are no stud linebackers coming next year. Somehow, I don't think it's because he was "buried in the depth chart".
December 16th, 2014 at 11:46 AM ^
Damnit.
December 16th, 2014 at 1:26 PM ^
Several factors could be at play which impacted his decision. Hoke gone, depth chart, distance from home or he just couldn't handle it academically. Wish him the best.
December 16th, 2014 at 11:46 AM ^
We are freaking out about who the next coach is going to be as fans. The players are dealing with the stress of the unknown better than half of the fan base. I am like everyone else though, F5 is life right now.
December 16th, 2014 at 11:49 AM ^
We have no idea how the players are handling it and they are the ones whose lives it truly affects.
December 16th, 2014 at 11:46 AM ^
Damn. Wasn't he the one who spearheaded the #Team135 recruiting pitch to other potential recruits once he verbally committed here?
Good luck to him.
December 16th, 2014 at 3:00 PM ^
Kind of odd in a way.
Good luck to him.
