Well, I figure we've got about an hour before things really get serious, so here we go.

Someone else can post tonight's schedule.

ASU up 14-0 vs Stanford.  Going to be ND's toughest game the rest of the way.

ASU has only 2 returning starters on defense and is starting 3 true freshman on defense.  Not bad.  Getting better as the year goes by.  what a concept.

I've seen this a couple times now. Where did this Patterson talk come from? Dude has been at TCU for 15 years. He's the man there. He didnt leave when he was hot after their dream season a few years back. And now they are doing well in the Big 12 and he gets to recruit Texas. Why would he think about UM?

Man I was hoping Winston said something really dumb on camera there.  "Ya baby let's get this...I gotta bounce though, got an authograph session.  Tell the team I said good game".

For the love of god, the doom and gloom talk is getting real old.....we know we aren't good this year or last...to act like we can never be good again is ridiculous.

Notre Dame wasn't very good before Kelly, even the first couple years with him they were mediocre. Florida State had some very average years, so have Bama, USC, Texas, Oklahoma etc...please stop saying Michigan will never field a top 10 to top 5 level squad again. We will, it may just take some time to figure it out. Blue blood programs with over 100 years of winning history don't just die in college football.

Have some perspective about these things people

Honestly I didn't watch this game but ND may very well get into the playoff based on that performance. Remember we fell like two spots after losing to OSU in 2006. Unless either of these two teams lose again I think they'll do just enough to make the CFP. At least we have basketball. Beilein uber alles.

I thought this was a pretty good game to watch. I wasn't expecting/hoping for that. ND seemed to dominate the first half but didn't put up a lot of points. That little speech Jimbo just gave Winston was probably not meant for the cameras, but I guess he had no choice.

Hell of a game wow! If that guy just acts like he is trying to get open - instead of blocking ... ND wins. We are so far behind these teams - especially in coaching. Fuck

After watching a couple of games today, my only thought was... Man we really do suck at football. And how much are we lagging behind right now? At least 10-15 years backward I'll say. (Refer to Brian's tweet about Denard, Devin and giving Hoke a bazooka.)

If Oregon goes 12-1 maybe. It's all about how you look at it. Should both teams win out ND's loss would be to #2 FSU on the road while Oregon's loss would be to, wait for it, Arizona at home. I haven't done the win comparison but if we want ND out then they'll probably need to lose another game though of course I'm not on the committee so it will be entirely up to them and how they view the situation. Personally I hate the fact that our rivals are having so much success while we are so terrible but at the same time I'd rather have our team be awesome than have our rivals be terrible. If all of us somehow sucked that wouldn't make me feel too good. The next few months are going to be critical. Pay a Harbaugh $10 million a year and fire Dave Brandon. We need a slam dunk (ah basketball) hire pronto.

If he just goes a little easier on that pick play they don't call it and this is a different outcome.  That's where you need more of an "influence" block, and the play was going to still be open.
