Need help for Louvre hanging
Fellow national champions,
After the PSU game my neighbor, also an M alum, sent me an email with this photo, caption "hang it in the Louvre". My 16-yo loves the photo and asked to get a blow-up of it on metal for his wall. However, the image I have and attached isn't great pixel density for anything beyond about 8 x 12. It's obviously from the skycam, and maybe he snapped the photo from his TV. I've tried to find it on reverse image search: alas, nothing. Wondering if any of you wily bastards might have seen the same photo or could find it. Thanks in advance.

I wonder what the record is for the heaviest offense.

Apparently sign-stealing is the heaviest offense.

This formation needs one less wideout, and McCarthy needs to be replaced with Orji or Edwards to be full-heavy.

The French preferred guillotines. But the Louvre would make a nice backdrop.

Well they used to do many of their executions (including King Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette and Maximilien Robespierre) at Place de la Concorde just a short walk away from the Louvre.

needs 1 more OL/TE

We're just recycling Fritz's offense.

Not until our QB kicks out the strongside end we’re not.

Orgi could.

+1 for calling us "wily bastards"
Very Hunter S. Thompson-esque

Where is the 11th guy?

Split out wide presumably

It is Loveland, isn't it?
That really was the most Harbaugh answer ever to the question of "What is our plan B if our plan A doesn't slow down their edges?"

I just did the math.
There is 2,490 lbs of linemen in this image.
Moar.

If you find out where that pic resides please let us know. It’s a great photo

It's a great shot! But I've been to the Louvre--I doubt you can get them to hang this there as sports photography isn't their jam.

They wouldn't do it themselves.
But if you stay away from the thousands milling around the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo, there are about 10,000 rooms in that place that seem to gather more dust than footsteps. You could put it between a couple of Corots and no one would notice. Corum/Corot? Close enough.

Mrs Mgoblue78 and I went on a delayed month-long honeymoon in the fall of '86 that included 4 days in Paris. Back then, way before electricity, you could just walk up to the Louvre, go right in no lines and press your nose up against the Mona Lisa and hug the Venus de Milo..well, the pedestal anyway.

Art is art. That at photo is art at its highest form. Better than that portrait of that homely girl everyone gawks at…

Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa, men have named you
You're so like the lady with the mystic smile
Is it only 'cause you're lonely they have blamed you?
For that Mona Lisa strangeness in your smile?

Check the psu or cbs threads for a replay of this game.
Maybe you find the game and scroll though the film until you find the above screen shot.
You may be able to got a better resolution from the film that allows you to enlarge the photo.

This seems like a good place to put this. When my now 23 year old son was in 2nd grade, I went to parent teacher conferences. The kids had math notebooks, and my son's teacher handed me his to look through. I opened it up and instead of math problems, my son had been drawing up football plays. Page after page of the kind of football plays only a 7 year old could dream up. Thankfully, he did graduate from college with a data analytics degree so no harm, no foul.

As to the Louvre hanging of PSU, I'm all for it.

So I do have this same photo, but it has the Big Noon watermark over the top right corner. It also appears to be slightly better resolution than the one you have, but I do not believe it is better enough for your purposes. Here it is in case it is useful to you:
an edit: it appears that uploading it has cost some resolution. I will look for alternative methods

It looks like it is the same picture, the one in the original post looks like it is just cropped to remove the B1G Noon Saturday logo.

By golly, I think you're right. Well that's a tad disappointing

That sure is pretty but if anything Michigan football is going in the Louvre it's this one:

I don't know if this will be any better or not.
I found the picture Alejandro Zuniga shared on twitter, ran it though Lightroom's "super resolution" feature, then did a super quick delete of the B1G Noon Saturday logo.
The file size is too large for uploading to MGoBlog

That should work, but I don't ever use dropbox, so I might have some permission wrong on it if you can't download it.

From Brian's UFR it's the 3rd play of our 2nd TD drive (4th drive), which comes right after our 1st TD drive, so if scrolling down, you can look for "Drive Notes: Touchdown, 7-3..." and then "M35."
For time it's 2Q with the play ending @ 7:41 (which is shown in the next play clip), in case someone has a good source.

We've had good luck with Upscayle at my work.
Don't know how much bigger you need, but its worked well up to 4x for us.
