MGoPodcast 15.16 Supplemental: The Hot Takes
You know what we forgot to do? Splice the Hot Takes segment we recorded into today’s podcast. Sorry for the audio content explosion but we couldn’t have one without the other.
It’s also an opportunity to mention the Sklars are coming to Detroit at the end of February and that I did a segment on their show that comes out tomorrow.

Amazing listen and I'm not done. Love that Alex has been included in these. Hope that continues. Thanks to all.
EDIT: Wow. Finished listening. I'm in my feels. Thank you, Brian, Seth, Alex and Dave -- for your candor, brilliance and openness. And thanks to every contributor. I lost my brother in the Summer of 2021. We loved MGoBlog. He was done with Harbaugh after The Game 2018. We debated about it often. 2019, 2020 and sometimes this blog gave him a lot of ammo. I choose to think when he passed he influenced the cosmic scales as much as he could. It is the only explanation for the Lions success. I wish he could experience these days with me.
Thanks again. Go Blue!

Holy **** there's MORE?

I personally was disappointed that they didn't include both the three hours of talking and the full hour of weeping in the podcast yesterday. This makes up for that.

The end of the 3 hr Mgoblog podcast felt like the last episode of Cheers. Hoping this is like when the cast showed up drunk on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno after the last episode aired.

My hot take. Michigan plays Ohio State 3 times next year.

What a total, wonderful, glorious surprise this morning to see this pod occupying the space where I was expecting the Roundtable! Fifteen more minutes of spectacular listening - and a lot of laughing! The only way it would have been better was to be even longer.
Thanks, boys, for dropping this for a quick pick-me-up on the drive into work on an otherwise dreary Friday morning!
BTW, I love the Sklars (not sure which one) suggestion of watching the National Championship game instead of any basketball game through the rest of the bball season. I'll add to that by suggesting a rotation of the '21-'23 OSU games and the Rose Bowl.

This is like when a previously unreleased Beatles song is discovered.

I visit the site regularly mainly to read posts by the authors. I am a rare listener to the podcast and rarely comment. Wow. This brought me to tears. Thanks for all do for the MGoBlog community. Very well done gentlemen. Go Blue!

You're probably referring to the 3 hour pod with the one hour of weeping (Brian's words) at the end and not this post about the supplemental hot takes.

Hot Take: The Joe Moore Award is cursed and therefore should permanently be awarded to TSDS!

Regarding sacrificing one sport for the other: My freshman year, we won the NCAA tournament hoops and the Rose Bowl. Got spoiled!
