OT: Oregon is thrilled they have wolverines
First time in 30 years they've had wolverines in Oregon. When was the last time a Michigan sports team played there?

Not to be that guy, but this was posted yesterday, unless it´s another sighting
Sorry I wasn't on yesterday. Mods delete please
Page down in the thread topics before posting anything. If you think it's relevant here (even as an OT topic - which wolverines are not), it's probably already posted...
When are wolverines ever NOT relevant?
It's actually the second siting in 24 hours.
Wolverines visited Ducks at Austen on Sept 20, 2003. I was in attendance, but my only recollection is that the outcome would have been different with just a few more minutes of game time.
Biggest problem Lloyd had was his teams always started slow and it would cost them one or 2 games early in the season before ending it on a high note but just missing the national title game. 03 could have easily been 12-0 if they played average on special teams. Both Iowa and oregon games had 2 horrendous special teams plays that screwed up the entire game. God those games still piss me off
I remember watching that game. Nothing went right for Michigan in the first half, and their late push fell short.
The 2007 game in A2 was a damn circus though. I watched that game in amazement wondering how many times Oregon was going to score.
the blocked FG in 03 was the only thing good about that whole game. In 07 they could have scored 100 if they really wanted to
One of the few games I've been to that the good guys lost. There was no answer to Dennis Dixon in that game. I still remember the sign a Oregon fan had in the stadium: Dixon Ya Mouf. Worst game ever.
We couldn't handle the crown in the field.
Oh, me too. First time at Autzen, and it was impressive. I've hated the Ducks ever since, and I especially after they crushed us at home the next year, and then there was that Natty between the Ducks and OSU...
Autzen, and I wish I'd forgotten that game.
Eugene/Springfield is a very unique area...visited many times and with the exception of that game, it's always generated some great memories.
Who wouldn't be thrilled?

Yeah the same button that says “Link” in a pop up window when you mouse over it (using a PC)
Good point. Works on a Mac too.
Just think how many wolverines will be there when they finally join the Big Ten. I would put money on it happening in the next 5 years.
Michigan needs a Wolverine again.... it was a nice 5 year run, but she passed in 2009/2010 and hasn't been replaced.....
Michigan is thrilled to have ducks.
that is one fine lookin' duck. I have no prob with the delaware blue hens using the winged helmet, so not that much of a stretch. I often fantasize about what oregon and michigan uni combos could do to a gridiron, like when I am bored not working at work.
Wow, second day in a row. They're getting overrun with wolverines! Get used to it, Pac-12, er, 10, er, 8?
Wal*Mart is closing their Portland stores, so the local Wolverines are coming out of hiding to buy their Michigan gear.
I'm more curious about that zebra on the loose in Seoul.
They caught him.
Two postings in two days about wolverines in Oregon? Let's talk about Wolverines in Michigan!! Hockey! Football! Basketball! Softball!! Go Blue!!
