Michigan has received its Notice of Allegations from the NCAA. Four Level II violations and one Level I violation, a source has confirmed…Yahoo first. The Level I violation is on Harbaugh for "providing false or misleading information" to investigators.

I understand they did a pre-emptive penalty by removing 7 points from UM's CFP game. More to come I'm sure.

Is the NCAA committee comprised of SEC bagmen? And people wonder why UM's highly desired coach is often mentioned and speculated about? Hmmnnnn...?

More of this speculation this year for some reason as to is rampant online. Could it be a result of success despite the built in disadvantages?

This is clearly going to be nothing.  Level 1 violation for misleading on self reported violations seems hard to sell with a straight face.

I can even see some benefit coming from this if Harbaugh gets asked about the violations.  I can see an answer that highlights the hypocrisy that draws headlines.

There may be annoying headlines for a while, but I'll ignore this one.

I wish there was a photo of the Bama or Clemson football practice facility parking lot, prior to NIL.  It would seem to have provoked a question - where did all these Chargers and Challengers come from?

Please Warde, for the love of all that’s holy, schedule a press conference and tell the world that UM doesn’t give a rat’s ass about anything the NCAA says or does, tear up the notice of allegations on live tv, announce that we will continue to play our games and run our football program like normal, and then walk off the stage not taking any questions.

Seriously.

If the AD even remotely accepts any form of punishment I’ll be beyond livid. The NCAA doesn’t have a SHRED of credibility and hasn’t for decades.

As soon as it seems like there's positive momentum for the program they sabotage themselves. It was such a great year and then it ends with all this negative drama. First the Mazi news, then the Iowa defectors, then the failure to show up for the first half of the bowl game, then the Harbaugh to the NFL crap, and now this. Really a wonderful job by all involved. Does this type of crap happen elsewhere?

Ill say it a million times. PSU, MSU, Notre Dame, OSU, USC, UM need to stop frothing when a rival gets in the NCAA crosshairs and they need to start supporting each other. All of these institutions catching more flack than Texas a and m, LSU, Ole MIss, Bama and Auburn is just ridiculous. Hell those SEC teams could be just as clean as all the Big10/Pac 12 team listed above and still be way behind in investigations. The entire thing stinks. The NCAA has become FIFA level dirty.

I haven't read every response like I usually do.   If Jim Harbaugh arranged for hookers and blow for a recruit he should be fired.   If he misdirected about a recruit getting cream cheese on their bagle the University should tell the NCAA to F*(K off.

This actually makes me feel a lot better about Harbaugh and the NFL dalliance this year.  Warde and Santa needed to reassure Harbaugh that they weren't going to wuss out on him.  Harbaugh needed to let them know that he had other options.   His weak ass denials make total sense now.  He's not going to take shit from the University or the NCAA.  I like that.   As long as he isn't letting his players commit murder because they are in the circle of trust (and similarly scummy things) I support him.

I'd really like to have Michigan wage a war against the NCAA.  Ridiculous that we had sanctions for stretching and UNC had nothing for 3 decades of illiterate players, including players who actually wanted an education.    Unfortunately as adults you have to either ignore or do symbolic gestures instead of burning down institutions.

Fingers crossed that there weren't hookers and blow at the sleep overs or up in that tree he climbed.  /s

With respect to the utter lack of credibility on the part of the NCAA, I've come around to the opinion that if it could be proven that Harbaugh arranged for hookers and blow for recruits - and it worked - give that man a fuckin' raise and crown him king for life.

Apparently the rumor is the allegation for “misleading” is around Harbaugh buying 2 committed recruits lunch. Who knows if true but if so, the NCAA is a complete joke.

Texas A&M bragging about buying the $200+ million class. OSU asking for $100 million to buy their class.

Michigan buying a couple kids lunch.

Throw the book at Michigan!

If anyone thinks those officiating review "mistakes" weren't complete corruption, I don't know what to tell you, other than pattern recognition is how psychologists measure IQ.

Nobody else think this is very interesting?

PSU, OSU, Notre Dame, USC, Michigan all kinds of NCAA issues

Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Miss st., Texas A and M, LSU clean as a fucking whistle

Maybe we should start standing up to this BS as a group. The Big Ten gets too much attention from the NCAA in comparison.

So Warde cuts jims salary in half a couple yrs ago and then self reports the fact that jim watched a kid work out  via zoom during covid. Also reports that he bought lunch for a couple recruits that showed up announced during covid. Maybe Jim is thinking about moving on just to get away from warde.
