The way too early weather forecast for this Saturday
Thinking it may be appropriate for periodic updates throughout the week.
But for now, I like what I'm seeing...

42 - 27 2.0
November 20th, 2022 at 8:47 PM ^
Too much is being made of the weather. Just fucking beat them.
November 20th, 2022 at 8:50 PM ^
This is very true, although the worse the weather is, the more each team will be forced to run when that's been our strength and their weakness all year.
November 20th, 2022 at 9:33 PM ^
Except I'd rather have their linebacker unit teeing off on the run vs ours.
November 20th, 2022 at 9:06 PM ^
Roger that.
Win the game
November 20th, 2022 at 9:32 PM ^
Yes but it’s fun to get in their head.
November 20th, 2022 at 10:10 PM ^
Completely agree!
November 20th, 2022 at 10:14 PM ^
I agree! The weather has NOTHING to do with the outcome........
Having said that....please let their be snow, high winds, and just overall nastiness....even though it doesn't matter!
November 20th, 2022 at 10:32 PM ^
Just watched the having said that Curbed episode last night
November 20th, 2022 at 11:28 PM ^
That’s with Jerry right?
The early seasons were unbeatable especially with LD battling virtually unknown guest stars but they’re all hilarious. What a twisted mind
November 20th, 2022 at 10:44 PM ^
Agree. The only weather that has affected their offense this year was those super high winds against Northwestern a few weeks ago, And although their running attack isn't up to ours, they can definitely run the ball as they're averaging over 200 yards per game.
November 20th, 2022 at 8:52 PM ^
I hope we aren’t going to get a weather report post every day for the next week
November 20th, 2022 at 8:53 PM ^
My game score prediction is the same as the Saturday forecast for Columbus - high/Michigan 45, low/OSU 35.
November 20th, 2022 at 8:54 PM ^
Cold and windy with a 100% Corum would make Michigan the favorite, I believe.
November 20th, 2022 at 8:58 PM ^
And it could be argued the Heisman is down to a two horse race. Bad weather conditions take away the advantage from Stroud, gives it to Corum. This game could be the determining factor.
November 20th, 2022 at 9:35 PM ^
Caleb Williams had quite the game yesterday. I don't think it's down to just Stroud and Corum just yet, although I wish that were the case.
November 20th, 2022 at 10:12 PM ^
Yeah. William's has a top 15 matchup with ND and then possibly a top 10 matchup with Oregon in the Pac-12 title game.
November 20th, 2022 at 11:18 PM ^
Yeah, I'm hearing Williams' name pop up more and more in the Heisman talk
November 20th, 2022 at 10:06 PM ^
Just win on Saturday and they can give the Heisman to whoever the hell they want.
November 20th, 2022 at 8:57 PM ^
Gusts of 10-15mph is considered fierce lol
November 20th, 2022 at 8:58 PM ^

no more weather threads. helmet on, chinstrap tight, play ball.

Wrong board XM for discouraging over-analyzed psychosomatic weather paranoia.
The weather looks good to me.

The weather looks great
November 20th, 2022 at 8:59 PM ^
You mean for two days ago you like what you're seeing...
November 20th, 2022 at 9:06 PM ^
Already a thread on this...on the first page.
November 20th, 2022 at 9:06 PM ^
Ugh. Anything and everything from "TheSpun" essentially is garbage. Although I rarely click on it, I made the mistake of not reading the link this time first.
November 20th, 2022 at 9:16 PM ^
Partly Corum, partly Edwards with a good chance of a bit of JJ. Look for another year of precipitation and whining from the buckeyes.
November 20th, 2022 at 9:20 PM ^
Another one of these..
November 20th, 2022 at 9:26 PM ^
Fire the free throw coach.
November 20th, 2022 at 9:27 PM ^
Pretty sure the forecast already changed since then. It’s now supposed to be warmer, without precipitation, and low winds.
November 20th, 2022 at 9:43 PM ^
Wrong thread.
November 20th, 2022 at 9:57 PM ^
Fierce gusts of wind at 10-15 mph? What the hell is this?
November 20th, 2022 at 10:09 PM ^
New age weather just hits different
November 20th, 2022 at 10:44 PM ^
We're sitting in here…and we in here talking about the weather. I mean, listen, we're talking about the weather, not The Game, not The Game, not The Game, we talking about the weather. Not The Game. Not, not... Not The Game that our players go out there and die for and play The Game like it's their last. Not The Game, but we're talking about the weather, man. I mean, how silly is that?.. And we talking about the weather. I know we’re supposed to be there. I know we’re supposed to lead by example... I know that... And I'm not... I'm not shoving it aside, you know, like it don't mean anything. I know it's important, I do. I honestly do... But we're talking about the weather man. What are we talking about? The weather? We're talking about the weather, man.

ITS HOT
ITS RAINING
ITS WINDY

November 20th, 2022 at 11:27 PM ^
That's strange - if you search Columbus on Saturday on Accuweather it says 49 degrees and partly cloudy, with no chance of rain. Though it does have the same gusty wind predicted
November 21st, 2022 at 1:16 AM ^
10-15 mph gusts Ave a 30,% chance of rain? That doesn't sound that impactful to me. Sounds like that's probably the average day weather in Ohio for the entire fall and winter, at best
November 21st, 2022 at 3:44 AM ^
With a 70% chance of poo in coolers

Granted, we were without Corum in the 2nd half, but Illinois almost just beat us at our own game. OSU with superior athletes is most certainly capable of doing the same. Plus that freshman RB may be their next Dobbins and better than what they’ve had all year, so here’s to hoping Williams and Henderson are good to go. Let the weather be what it’s gonna be and just win the dam game.
November 21st, 2022 at 6:04 AM ^
not just corum, but also edwards, our top 2 TE's, two of our starting lineman and our top pass rusher, and you could say our #2 QB and one of our #1 LB's. so that's 8 starters, two of whom we won't get back, and another piece of the puzzle in cade.
November 21st, 2022 at 6:55 AM ^
I don’t disagree with you. Missing those key players evened the playing field with Illinois. Not to mention Blake was on track to rush for 200 yds. OSU has been without key players all year and suddenly have a freshman RB who looks to be the best back they have, albeit with limited snaps. Either way we just can’t assume that we can line up man to man and whip their ass. Their D is much improved, especially in the 2nd half of games. Our best shot is to repeat last years game. Control the TOP, disrupt Strouds timing and hopefully their D has their hands on hips grasping for air in the 4qtr. If their monster receivers are running wild then I’ll go full Seinfeld and dig a hole in the yard and set in it.

I live in Ohio and it is funny how most Buckeye fans I talk to are already talking about how great this freshman is and have already pretty much given up on Henderson. I hope the freshman is who plays on Saturday. We aren’t Maryland so I have good confidence that their running game is going to regress back to what it looked like against Iowa, Penn St, and Northwestern. Buckeye fans have the what have you done for me lately mentality so Henderson is not good anymore according to the fans I talk to.

I like how the forecast is 'Ugly' and it shows a photo of the 'Shoe in all it's glory, lol
November 21st, 2022 at 9:59 AM ^
Not as much cold air behind the front. Highs will be in the lower to mid 40s. But the winds will be 15 to 20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Here are the sustained winds in knots at 2 PM EST (18Z).
November 21st, 2022 at 11:43 AM ^
“The winds are likely to be pretty fierce, with gusts of 10-15 miles per hour.”
This is not what I would consider fierce
November 21st, 2022 at 12:02 PM ^
As of early Monday, there are two camps on the weather forecast; 1) dry and mild 45-50 deg and 2) a wet start and windy with 38-40 deg. It could go either way at this time.
November 21st, 2022 at 3:39 PM ^
To put it quite clearly the Europeans have a much better longer range numerical model (ECMWF), then the American long rang numerical model (GFS), or the Canadian longer range numerical model (GEM).
