Sharty sucks.
Tuck Cuckin
Extend him another decade for $200mm
October 1st, 2022 at 7:15 PM ^
We have to beat these fools this year. We’ve been better the last two times and have not got it done. This is another pathetic team Tuck has out there.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:40 PM ^
We have a bye week before that game and will either be coming off our first loss to Penn State and thus be PISSED or we'll be riding a 7-0 streak with a chance to get revenge and pummel Sparty to likely cement a path to 11-0
Beating Sparty is ESSENTIAL either way. Tuck's had this beating coming for 2 years now
October 1st, 2022 at 7:40 PM ^
His cigar smoking and tough talking, "take em to the deep end" won't cut it this year.
Tuck cuckin'
They are terrible, and a culture of building a college program with 40% of the starters from the portal won't work.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:22 PM ^
Is it possible that he is who we thought he was?
A career of mostly average outcomes (with occasionally significant success as a position coach and coordinator in college and the NFL). A very average head coach at both levels.
Guy caught lightning in a bottle with the portal and, in particular, with Kenneth Walker and managed to parlay that success into $95 million contract from some Sparty slappies with money. Guy should probably thank Brian Kelly too.
I can think of between 16 and 13 reasons this is accurate. Tucker never built a program anywhere, never had any sustained success as a head coach and perhaps lucked into this thing. Charismatic recruiter, perhaps, and effective with pictures of dogs, cars and cigars.
Once you get past the image though, and the Walker luck, what leads Sparty fans to feel so confident?
October 1st, 2022 at 7:44 PM ^
We got it done last year but Aidan was robbed of a TD.
It won’t be close enough this year for that garbage to matter.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:14 PM ^
If you believe that Tuck comin', you may as well wait for Godot.

Love watching night games after a Michigan victory. Time to root against Clemson.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:16 PM ^
Exactly. I can’t stand Dabo. He has taken advantage of a poor conference. Miami and FSU being down opened the door for him.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:05 PM ^
He beat Bama and won a National title TWICE. I think the idea that he simply took advantage of a down conference is kinda silly.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:09 PM ^
It’s a little of both. Yes he absolutely built a national title program and beat Bama. However, that ascension also took place when the only other two power programs in his conference absolutely bottomed out, which meant he had virtually zero resistance in his climb to the top.
Much more difficult to do that when you’ve got a dominating conference for to deal with every single year.

37 game home winning streak needs to die. Come on NC St, shut up Dabbo's SOBs!
October 1st, 2022 at 7:15 PM ^
A Michigan Win.
A Sparty loss.
Good Saturday in my book. Time to get celebratorily sauced!
October 1st, 2022 at 7:18 PM ^
You're late.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:20 PM ^
Nah, I've just decided to take my moderate buzz to the next level
October 1st, 2022 at 7:24 PM ^
Too bad ND has a bye week. I love to watch those bastards lose in prime time.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:31 PM ^
I live ~15 mins from Notre Dame so their losses are almost as sweet as Sparty losses. I would have got Peter Griffin levels of intoxicated if they also had lost tonight
October 1st, 2022 at 7:33 PM ^
Across the border, I hope
October 1st, 2022 at 8:23 PM ^
I also live 15 minutes from Notre Dame. All of my students are ND fans and all my coworkers are MSU alum.

Mishawaka?
October 1st, 2022 at 7:38 PM ^
A Baylor loss as well. Those were the three games that I was emotionally involved with today.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:23 PM ^
The game ended in early evening. Haha MSU sucks.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:26 PM ^
FYS!!!!!!!

Hope they lose every game 🤞

Woof...
Is this where we determine whether NC St or Clemson are frauds? My money is on NC St being the fraud.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:44 PM ^
If a fraud plays a fraud...how do you know who's the fraud?
October 1st, 2022 at 7:59 PM ^
That's deep... My brain just went *poof*...

I've strapped myself in for LOLbraska and LOLdiana
October 1st, 2022 at 7:32 PM ^
For some reason I'm intrigued by Nebraska-Indiana.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:34 PM ^
I dunno. Sponge Bob Squarepants, or Nebraska-Indiana? Which cartoon?
October 1st, 2022 at 7:35 PM ^
Do you pick at your cuticles? Till you draw blood? That's the impulse. And, yes, I will be watching this.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:35 PM ^
Me too. Chance to scout Indiana I guess.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:39 PM ^
Me too. I’m curious if the absence of Scott Frost will spark a sudden improvement or not.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:44 PM ^
How could it not? Adrian Martinez has certainly benefited from it.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:14 PM ^
Could be that UM plays them both
October 1st, 2022 at 7:33 PM ^
Auburn Tigers/Plainsmen/War Eagle 7 - LSU Tigers 0
LSU looks so badly coached they're making Auburn look like a Saban team.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
After that atrocious southern accent attempt I can’t wait for Brian Kelly to faceplant in the SEC lol
October 1st, 2022 at 7:36 PM ^
Tressel, Urban, Ryan Day, Brian Kelly, Dantonio...
Who is #1 most hated? #2 most hated? #3 most hated? #4 most hated? #5 most hated?
October 1st, 2022 at 7:39 PM ^
This isn't even fair. Egads - those are some gawd-awful choices...
October 1st, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
Kelly helped kill two kids, so he's #1, Dantonio and Urban are loathesome in similar ways so they're tied, Tressel a garden variety hypocritical holier than thou douche, and Day just kind of a smug asshole.
Dabo secret second.
October 1st, 2022 at 9:42 PM ^
There were TWO kids? I know about the scissor-lift in the storm kid, but what’s the other one?
October 1st, 2022 at 7:41 PM ^
1. Urban Meyer
1a Jim Tressel
1b Ryan Day
1c Mork Dan7onio
1d Brain Kelly
October 1st, 2022 at 7:45 PM ^
Easy…
#1 Urban…scumbag who had the gall to teach an ethics course lol
#2 Tressel…for obvious reasons
#3 Day because he’s the current OSU coach and threatened to hang 100 on us
#4 Dantonio because he’s a sanctimonious ass-hat
#5 Kelly cause he’s a jerk and has a terrible southern accent
October 1st, 2022 at 7:48 PM ^
Personally speaking?
1. Urban - Utter POS human being made worse by his insane ability to win games
2. Brian Kelly - Another POS human though I hate him slightly less because at least he was somewhat beatable (the killing of a kid though might make him #1 though)
3. Dantonio - Miserable sad sack who made us suffer for a decade through the most painful losses I can remember (2017, 2015, 2014, 2013, etc. etc.)
4. Tressel - Annoying sweater-vest wearing twerp who buried us for a decade and while kinda scummy (sweeping numerous scandals under the rug) still seems like a mostly alright guy
5. Day - Still new and the victory last year makes it a little easier to like him. Plus, while his comments about "hanging 100" and his clearly dyed goatee are easy targets, he actually seems like a good guy with his focus on mental health and so far, scandal-free tenure
October 1st, 2022 at 8:01 PM ^
This is a trick question. The only sensible answer is that I have maximum hatred for each one. If that weren't the case, I'd have to say that I have some affection for them, like 99% hatred and 1% affection. NEVER. So the answer to the question is that they are all tied for No. 1.
October 1st, 2022 at 7:37 PM ^
Had tickets for USC tonight. Someone sold our parking pass. Can’t find parking within a few miles of the stadium (I’m not parking in the ghetto that basically surrounds USC).
Going to an angels game instead.
October 1st, 2022 at 8:23 PM ^
Park and ride. Just take the Expo line next time
October 1st, 2022 at 7:38 PM ^
I hate to waste a night game on Sparty. I would much rather a night game be against Penn State.
I hope Sparty's downward spiral convinces the networks not to make them a prime time opponent for us. Would like to see it be Penn State.

Does Texas keep Steve Sarkisian around solely to keep Arch Manning committed if he flounders again this year?
October 1st, 2022 at 7:46 PM ^
I mean, it’s only his second season. They’d be fools to fire him this soon…then again, it is Texas we’re talking about
