100m times translate to the football field. Cole allegedly has a 10.69 100m dash. Original thought was, no way, but his state meet time time was 10.97 (sophomore year, 4th place, June 2021), so 10.69 is much more believable. He is fast.

For reference, Jabrill had a 10.52 PR, Denard had a 10.56 PR, Roman WIlson won states with a 10.68. Anything sub 11 is fast.

So I follow the high school league Dexter plays in and checked his stats against the top team in the league, the Saline Hornets (who are basically the OSU of the league, don’t think they’ve lost a game against a league/division opponent in almost a decade and make deep playoff runs almost every season). Cabana rushed for 165 and three TDs on that Saline defense. Looks like he’s one of the main reasons that game was even close.

He’s got to be pretty good because not many backs can do that to them. Should be fun to see what he does in Ann Arbor.

On the smaller size, 180 pounds for a back is a little small but is said to run a 4.34 40. 10.69 in the 100m. For comparison, Roman Wilson ran a 10.68. Looks fast and blows past people. Seems to have decent hands.

Plays solid competition in solid high school football league.

Had a great game against the best team in said league who hasn’t lost to a league rival in about a decade with three TDs and 165 yards. Was a lot of the reason the game was so close even if Dexter lost.
