I heard he's a heady, coach's kid-type. Cerebral kid really and is the epitome of a gym rat... first in, last out kind of work ethic.

Does he bring his lunch pail with him to practice? Blue collar guy? Loves the game?

Coach’s son?

No.
But he's a coach on the field.

Sounds like a wonderful description of a recruit going to EMU.
I don't buy into Hart needs a few years to pull in higher rated kids.
Why? All the other coaches are bringing in higher rated kids with the exception of QB ,which I don't understand the 2 we took.

Christian McCaffrey Part 2 ??

Why can't he be Raheem Mostert?

Seriously. They could be twins.

So, does the Big House play the below every time he scores a TD?

100m times translate to the football field. Cole allegedly has a 10.69 100m dash. Original thought was, no way, but his state meet time time was 10.97 (sophomore year, 4th place, June 2021), so 10.69 is much more believable. He is fast.
For reference, Jabrill had a 10.52 PR, Denard had a 10.56 PR, Roman WIlson won states with a 10.68. Anything sub 11 is fast.

I know we’re looking at fractions of a second over a very long distance, but with Wilson’s laser timed 40 I’m surprised he’s at 10.68 and behind the other two.

Could be a few things. Good day running that 4.37 for Wilson. Top end speed vs. burst. Denard and Jabrill have PRs listed, while Wilson's 10.68 was from the state meet. From my original quick google search I didn't see a PR.

Looks good on film

Looks like he's a student of the game. A heady and tough player

And gritty.

Lunchpail kid. You'd be happy if he married your daughter.

How is he gonna play college football while wrestling with AEW?
January 31st, 2022 at 9:55 PM ^
6' but also 180. Then I read that he also has speed. Sound very interesting.

At the Cole Cabana--the hottest spot north of Havana?

I will probably always read his name as “Colt Cabana”

So I follow the high school league Dexter plays in and checked his stats against the top team in the league, the Saline Hornets (who are basically the OSU of the league, don’t think they’ve lost a game against a league/division opponent in almost a decade and make deep playoff runs almost every season). Cabana rushed for 165 and three TDs on that Saline defense. Looks like he’s one of the main reasons that game was even close.
He’s got to be pretty good because not many backs can do that to them. Should be fun to see what he does in Ann Arbor.

High 3 star sounds good. Anyone watch him live or film and have an informed opinion?

On the smaller size, 180 pounds for a back is a little small but is said to run a 4.34 40. 10.69 in the 100m. For comparison, Roman Wilson ran a 10.68. Looks fast and blows past people. Seems to have decent hands.
Plays solid competition in solid high school football league.
Had a great game against the best team in said league who hasn’t lost to a league rival in about a decade with three TDs and 165 yards. Was a lot of the reason the game was so close even if Dexter lost.
