Bob McKenzie ranks Owen Power #1 in TSN's Mid-Season Rankings
Title says it all, The Bobfather and the rest of the TSN crews Mid-Season Rankings have been released and Owen Power is their unanimous #1 for the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. Also in their Top-10, Matthew Beniers at #4, Luke Hughes at #5 and Kent Johnson at #8.

He'll be a great inaugural pick for the Kraken.

No guarantee Seattle gets the first overall. They have a 10% chance at the first overall and 33% in the top three. The rules for their placement is the same as Vegas was when they entered the league and Vegas drafted sixth overall that year.
Wanna bet?
If all four go in the first round, it will only be the third time that four players were selected in the first round from the same university, joining Minnesota in 2006 (Erik Johnson at 1, Phil Kessel at 5, Kyle Okposo at 7 and David Fischer at 26) and Boston University in 2016 (Clayton Keller at 7, Charlie McAvoy at 14, Dante Fabbro at 17 and Kieffer Bellows at 19) and the first time in history four players from the same university would be drafted in the Top-10.
Do we really get to claim Luke Hughes though? I mean, sure, he's committed here, and he may still wind up coming if whoever drafts him wants him to develop here rather than another league, but I think its hard to say that he's ours at this point.
He would have to attend/play at Michigan for him to count but I don't see that not happening.
I hope you're right.
I would think they all have to play together in the same season for it to count. Doesn’t seem like you’d be able to claim 4 with one coming in and 1-3 leaving.
How many first round picks do the Wings have in that draft?
2 Firsts, their own and Washington's.
Thank you sir.
Doug McKenzie agrees...
Take off you hoser!
