Amazing performance. Really happy he's doing well.
IIRC he was a late grab by Beilein. A plan B guy. Go figure. He really thrived here.
Only nets starter with positive +/- his plus 15, other four minus 16, 18, 18, 20. Seems pretty bizarre for a team to win a game with four starters averaging minus 18 in the plus minus.
Kyrie, KD, and Levert is going to win a title.
It's going to be really fun to be a UM-NBA fan in the next few years, especially when you include the Heat's resurgence and Duncan's success.
No team is going to win a title with Kyrie again.
I'll believe it when I see, at least, two more threads proclaiming it
Bottom line ... this is great! Love Caris... Love that Michigan helped him get there.
It's odd... given all the stuff that has been going on outside sports... and I won't go there... when certain quantities peak? I don't think Caris has peaked yet.
We are pushing BBallers to peak earlier in AAU. Six year olds are routinely evaluated for Soccer chops. We are now pseudo asking FBallers not to play FB until they get near college age which is its own story.
What are the best sports to peak human physical potential <period>?
Basketball is certainly in my top 3... in fact here is my top 3 in no real order.
- European Handball
- Basketball
- Ultimate Frisbee
All three are team sports - which I think ties in with the idea of potential. Don't get me wrong ... I love Usain Bolt... but Caris didn't do this without his teammates tossing him the ball a few times.
What are the best sports to peak human physical potential <period>?
Ultimate might be the best, in that it can be Co-ed, self refereed and has a higher off field fun quotient than anything I have ever played.
Go Blue! Go Caris! These are special times... all times are special... I suppose.
Caris had loads of potential and was really good at Michigan despite being hampered by injuries. It is interesting to see him continuing to get better and better at 25 years old. Seems like most guys who enter the league at 21 are at their peak sooner, but I could be wrong.
... Cool... Story... Bro...
Parallel universe or hallucinations?
I might need to start watching the NBA, specifically the Nets
If you’re looking to follow specifically UM players in the NBA, the Heat and Mavericks are both a lot more fun to watch than the Nets.
Damn, that's some serious performance right there.
Beilein had an incredible eye for talent! Lavert, Burke, Stauskas, Hardaway Jr, GR3(before he jumped in the rankings) All of these guys were underrated and passed on by other programs and turned out to be incredible college basketball players. Bottom line: Beilein could indeed recruit as well as anyone and kick ass at the highest level.
Doesn’t Caris have a year of eligibility left?
