Arizona State President talks trash to Harbaugh
So, apparently the president of Arizona State likes to trash talk. He was on some radio show talking about a potential series with Michigan football and decided to take a jab at Harbaugh. Funny thing though, he gets ripped for it!

Let's trade schedules and see how easy beating the fucknuts is for you ASU.
Edit: after looking at ASU's schedule and seeing Utah on there I hereby rescind the trade offer
February 17th, 2020 at 5:24 PM ^
Wait....What? You are rescinding the schedule swap offer because Utah is on their schedule? Certainly you forgot the /s I assume?
CSept. 3 – Northern Arizona (Thursday)
Sept. 12 – at UNLV
Sept. 19 - BYU
Sept. 26 – at USC
Oct. 3 – Oregon State
Oct. 10 – UCLA
Oct. 17 – Bye Week
Oct. 24 – at Colorado
Oct. 31 – at Washington State
Nov. 7 – California
Nov. 13 – at Oregon (Friday)
Nov. 21 – Utah
Nov. 28 – at Arizona
February 17th, 2020 at 5:28 PM ^
I would jack off to this schedule if it belonged to my football team
February 17th, 2020 at 7:09 PM ^
We're talking about his son, Jim. Not Jack.
February 18th, 2020 at 9:08 AM ^
Exactly the PAC-12 is a joke
February 18th, 2020 at 9:59 AM ^
Better start jacking because 4 of those teams can beat Michigan. Utah, Oregon, and USC certainly. Throw in another due to Michigan not being motivated like Army this year. Since when has the Big 10 become a great football conference? Outside of OSU- who else is a threat?
February 17th, 2020 at 5:43 PM ^
Michigan goes 11-1 with that schedule. The L is a forfeit to Oregon because Michigan is above playing on Friday nights.
February 17th, 2020 at 6:29 PM ^
This is such a grossly pompous comment that I hope I'm just missing the implied "/s"
February 17th, 2020 at 7:01 PM ^
No. It is deadnuts accurate.
February 18th, 2020 at 12:09 AM ^
It’s not though.... Michigan would eat that schedule up. Penn state , Minnesota, of course Osu , hell maybe even Wisconsin would eat that up
I’m a pac 12 fan, love the Cougs, but other than the current Oregon program ....no other team can say anything close to this about Michigan or most of the B1G.
Now, if ASU was looking to put even more fire under Jim and Co. when they open up at PAC12 “power” UW well they probably succeed
February 17th, 2020 at 7:48 PM ^
But apparently OK w/ Thursday night?
February 17th, 2020 at 7:56 PM ^
You don't forfeit to Northern Arizona. You buy them out and schedule UConn for Saturday.
February 17th, 2020 at 6:29 PM ^
UM always struggles against Utah, I don't want to go down that road again.
February 17th, 2020 at 6:37 PM ^
Across the country the first game of the year with a new qb.. sure.
February 17th, 2020 at 6:39 PM ^
We also lost to them with a Brady hoke coached team and a rich rod team.
February 17th, 2020 at 10:52 PM ^
But those coaches lost to everyone in the respective years that M played Utah. That was Richrod's awful first season and Hoke awful last season.
So again, first game of the season on the road, new staff, new QB. Utah just got lucky timing with those three games. They're a solid team but as the second toughest game on a schedule, they're highly beatable. Not nearly as scary as Wisconsin at Camp Randall or PSU at Happy Valley.
I will say, Michigan has a pretty cake schedule in 2020 relative to typical years, assuming Washington isn't great next year. Second toughest game...at Minnesota who loses a ton of players, iirc?
Michigan probably should be 11-0 going into The Game.
February 18th, 2020 at 6:08 AM ^
Joke lost to Maryland and Rutgers too. Afraid of them?
February 17th, 2020 at 6:45 PM ^
Hahahaha! So you'd prefer to go down the Ohio St road instead?
February 17th, 2020 at 7:07 PM ^
Michigan could easily have beaten them in Harbaugh’s first game had Grant Perry not been a freshman. He had two bad routes that lead to interceptions
February 17th, 2020 at 8:12 PM ^
Harbaugh would only win 8-9 of these games
February 17th, 2020 at 11:54 PM ^
I'll gladly trade schedules.
They would have lost to MSU but the Spartan offense was non-existent.
February 18th, 2020 at 10:09 AM ^
?
ASU did beat MSU. Twice.
February 18th, 2020 at 1:42 AM ^
We would be in the playoffs at least every other year with that kind of schedule.
February 17th, 2020 at 9:59 PM ^
IMHO UM has been better than Washington, Oregon, Stanford, and USC and they each have conference titles during JH's tenure at UM. My hunch is if UM had played in the PAC 12 during JH's tenure they'd likely have won 1-2 conference championships in 2016 and/or 2018 and maybe appearances in the conference championship games in 2015 and 2019 well as playoff appearances in 2016 and/or 2018. I don't see any Pac 12 team going 5-0 against UM. And, no Pac 12 team would win the B1G East and/or beat OSU.
February 17th, 2020 at 5:00 PM ^
I hope the athletic dept realizes ASU needs us more than we need them and tells them to f*** off, we'll schedule someone else.
February 17th, 2020 at 5:01 PM ^
This is hilarious.
Crow: "We, Arizona State, want to play Harbaugh because he can't beat Ohio State!"
*Michigan beats Arizona State 45-17*
Crow: "LOL good luck against Ohio State, idiots"
*turns and hi-fives Herm*

Lobbying/trash talking as an attempt for the Prez job at MSU....
February 17th, 2020 at 5:18 PM ^
I think I like this Jeremy Cluff dude.
February 17th, 2020 at 5:03 PM ^
Saw this earlier. What in the H is a college President doing talking about the football team "possible" future schedule and then trying to trash talk JH. I suspect the outcome will be less than optimal for pres.
February 17th, 2020 at 8:18 PM ^
Nobody from the PAC-12 should be talking trash, period.
February 17th, 2020 at 5:07 PM ^
As an ASU alum, who also worked on campus for several years, and has (humble brag) met Michael Crow, this does not surprise me in the slightest. Done a pretty good job with the university itself-can't tell his ass from a hole in the ground on athletics.
Also insists on wearing khaki's that accentuate his moose knuckles at every event.
February 17th, 2020 at 5:11 PM ^
Wish I could unsee that last sentence.
February 17th, 2020 at 5:25 PM ^
Well I wish it had even more descriptors
February 17th, 2020 at 6:28 PM ^
I hope my son goes to ASU someday so I can go visit and check out the scenery.
February 17th, 2020 at 6:37 PM ^
You don't have to go to Arizona to see moose knuckles.
February 17th, 2020 at 8:10 PM ^
Ever been to Culver’s?
February 17th, 2020 at 6:49 PM ^
I am also an ASU alum. I disagree somewhat regarding Crow. I would like ASU to stop focusing on land development.
He doesn't know squat about athletics...but Hurley has been a great hire and Edwards hasn't been the debacle that most thought he would be...not that he was directly responsible for hiring them.
February 17th, 2020 at 6:52 PM ^
I don't disagree about the land development but if you look where the university was when he took over and where it is now, it's a big difference. Also much less fun.
Side note- they actually got into some trouble with their land deals where they basically got sued by the state AG for like tax evasion or something on it.

February 17th, 2020 at 5:11 PM ^
I guess that 10-7 win over MSU got them cocky.
February 17th, 2020 at 8:32 PM ^
Indeed. We might have to turn them into “Lil Brother II”.
February 17th, 2020 at 5:14 PM ^
And here I was starting to like ASU after what they did to ranked Sparty teams in back-to-back years.
February 17th, 2020 at 6:36 PM ^
***“Mysteriously- ranked underachieving Sparty teams”

February 17th, 2020 at 5:33 PM ^
University of Phoenix is a better school.
February 17th, 2020 at 6:34 PM ^
Our record against OSU is unquestionably embarrassing and a black mark on what has otherwise been a successful return to the upper echelons of college football (clearly not the uppermost echelon but a far cry from the dark days of the decade that proceeded the Harbaugh era.
That said this guys a complete ass clown if he thinks that their recent scurmishes with a dead-in-the-water program from Mark Dantonio’s School for NCAA Violations means they are on par with one of the best programs in the B1G. Pride comes before the....remaining a middling PAC 12 team, Sir.
