Go blue!
October 26th, 2019 at 11:19 PM ^
AAAHHHHHHHH......
That one felt good!
Fuck it. Let's turn all three of these into posbangs!
October 26th, 2019 at 11:19 PM ^
Absolute domination from start to finish. Was really a shutout. Refs gave them 7 and 7 in garbage time against backups
October 26th, 2019 at 11:20 PM ^
Without that gift, I wonder if Brown leaves the D in to finish the shutout.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:22 PM ^
Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
Boston is so damn cool, say Hi to it for me.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:24 PM ^
I don't think you really need to wonder.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:24 PM ^
Michigan 45-John O'Neill's crew 7-Sad Brian Kelly 7.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:49 AM ^
I used to care about preserving shutouts. Now I care more about keeping guys healthy moving forward and getting backups some reps. Future, bitches...future.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:20 PM ^
So stout against the run.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:20 PM ^
McGrone and Hutchinson are officially difference makers!
October 26th, 2019 at 11:22 PM ^
Hutchinson is a star in the making.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:35 PM ^
Or a shield.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:31 AM ^
Or a sword.
Or a mace.
Or maybe Mayce Windu

AND MY AXE
October 26th, 2019 at 11:37 PM ^
He is only a Sophomore and his Daddy was an All American, so....
October 26th, 2019 at 11:43 PM ^
He looks like a full grown man on the field. He's more physically developed than Chase was in his final year. He's legit good.
October 27th, 2019 at 9:27 AM ^
As good or will be better than Wormley? One of my all time favs.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:42 AM ^
It's hard to project, but he went from nowhere to all over the field REALLY quickly. He's going to swat down one of those passes and run it back for a TD. He's been really close already.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:35 AM ^
I think we're at the point where McGrone becoming the new Devin Bush is no longer a hope, it's an expectation.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:48 AM ^
Big fan of "McGroon" and Hutch!!!!
October 27th, 2019 at 12:52 AM ^
Hutch, McGrone and Dax are the basis of the D next year. Those three guys are the tits. Big, curvy, healthy tits. We saw some Vilain in there quite a bit. A little garbage time action but there is some spark.
October 27th, 2019 at 9:52 AM ^
Hutchinson has been making plays all year and is always in the backfield disrupting. The kids is a star. Bush was awesome and made a lot of plays, where I would catch what he did on replay. But the last couple games I keeps saying in real time "Oh shit, there's McGrone." Both of those guys are beasts.
I've also noticed Ambry Thomas making a lot of plays. David Long was great, but he was so good that people wouldn't throw to him as much. Nice to see players making plays.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:20 PM ^
Better teams will still get the better of this defense at times, but they're fast as hell and truly multiple now, which makes the guessing game for the offense much more difficult.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:54 AM ^
I was really impressed with the lateral speed of the defense. Notre Dame playmakers are not slow pokes either. Gives me hope for game 12.
October 27th, 2019 at 7:42 AM ^
Great to see they can be multiple, and do stuff other than man press. Overdue. Glad they can do it now, and are using it more and doing it well. Plus, d-line was really good all night.
Next project to work on: Finding ways to better combat offensive motion etc. that creates bad match ups with receivers. Penn State did that and OSU did it last year.
ND did it a bit last night (though not really with motion) but just could not take advantage.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:20 PM ^
ND just got Mcgroned
October 26th, 2019 at 11:20 PM ^
Locked in. They had ND's playbook downloaded.
But not 100% confident in Gray. He held up though.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:08 AM ^
Gray is up and down but he's made some great plays so he's going to end up good.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:19 AM ^
Physically he's not there. Some of that is just strength, and that improves with age and he can mitigate with technique, but his ceiling looks low to me.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:26 AM ^
I think he will end up at least Brandon Watson good. At least I hope so.
October 27th, 2019 at 8:48 AM ^
Yeah, Gray is not great yet. I have a feeling OSU will pick on him. He gets a little lost trying to figure out where the ball is. Hopefully DB can find a way to protect him.
October 27th, 2019 at 4:01 PM ^
He needs to learn to get his head turned around to look for the ball. Bad habit, that will cost more penalties for sure.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:20 PM ^
When the threat of the deep pass is thrown out of the game because of the elements, Don Brown's D could legit square off on ND all game. It was nice seeing a QB get pressure.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:21 PM ^
Cannot say enough good things about the Defense tonight. The first pick was stolen by a bad pi call, yet ND had less that 125 yds of offense until mop up time. ND has talent at the skill positions, but the Defense pretty much stoned em the whole night, even with a lot of 3 and outs from our conservative offense.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:30 PM ^
Lol. Yeah - our conservative offense which rammed 45 points down the domers throat!!!
some people just can’t be happy.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:36 PM ^
I'm very happy for the record. Great game all the way around. So happy I agree with you
it was great to ram 45 points down the Domers throats and upvote your making that very point.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:36 AM ^
Our offense was pretty conservative before the crappy PI call. 28 of the points came after that which happened more than mid way through the 3rd quarter. Granted the weather also improved.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:21 PM ^
No injuries!
October 26th, 2019 at 11:23 PM ^
Don Brown called a gem. I was loosing my faith in his big game strategies. The D was outstanding!
October 26th, 2019 at 11:23 PM ^
Lights out! What an incredible effort by the defense and Don a brown played a bunch of zone. Sheeeeeeiiiiitttt that was some good stuff.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:52 PM ^
Don Brown sure did play a lot of zone tonight and Herbie kept commenting about how Michigan was breaking their tendencies and playing so much more zone defense.
Michigan will probably need many of these same schemes against OSU.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:39 AM ^
I think Herbie has regressed significantly.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:25 PM ^
Tip of the cap. That’s all.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:25 PM ^
I was impressed with the D line push all night

Maryland and a bye week first
October 26th, 2019 at 11:26 PM ^
The starters gave up zero points. You can't do much better than that.
October 26th, 2019 at 11:26 PM ^
Get fucked, Brian Kelly
October 26th, 2019 at 11:27 PM ^
I'm ecstatic about the defense and I cant wait to see Ross out there with Mcgrone and that speed.
