Is this all the commentary we get? I don’t really follow Spartys program. Tell us who and why? Don’t be lazy!
October 27th, 2019 at 10:09 AM ^
0 this week, 5 immediately following our beat down of Dantinglio in a few weeks
October 27th, 2019 at 11:07 AM ^
Mork will enter the coaches portal after our beat down of that dirty program.
October 27th, 2019 at 11:46 AM ^
More has already entered that portal in his brain. He's going to retirement U after this season and he knows it. See the deck chairs shuffling on the Titanic last offseason instead of real changes. He's done, and I for one want him to stick around and take his ass beating for a few more years.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:04 PM ^
LOL, I like this one.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:13 PM ^
Dantinglio...Delicious, versatile sauce....goes well with everything from covering up sexual assault and battery, to general misery, spite and obsession associated with a Napoleonic complex.
Shelf life of about ten years.
October 28th, 2019 at 2:19 AM ^
Dantinglio.
What is an Italian dingleberry?
October 27th, 2019 at 10:09 AM ^
TL;DR
October 27th, 2019 at 10:15 AM ^
I say 27
October 27th, 2019 at 11:01 AM ^
46 and 2
October 27th, 2019 at 11:01 AM ^
46 and 2
October 27th, 2019 at 11:07 AM ^
3 to 9 seams like a good guess
October 27th, 2019 at 10:16 AM ^
Between 3-9 would be my guess.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:23 AM ^
Do they have 4 players left? I think Dantonio is about to enter it himself.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:01 PM ^
He does that, it will be open season on him with this Blackwell investigation.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:06 PM ^
Moral in their locker room has to be as low as when they went 3 and 9 a few years ago. Things are sinking fast in E Lansing.
October 27th, 2019 at 1:14 PM ^
Morals have always been low in that locker room.
October 27th, 2019 at 1:18 PM ^
I agree...the morals in that locker room are super shitty. Hence, all the investigations into the program. Morale might be a bit low, too, now that I think about it.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:24 AM ^
Probably about 12.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:25 AM ^
Mork's kaput after this 5-7 season.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:29 AM ^
Any time a coach says "at least we're 4-4" you know his heart isn't in it anymore.
October 27th, 2019 at 11:50 AM ^
Yup, he's done and he knows it. Harbaugh running the state again + all the scandals at MSU + all the shitty people he's brought in to his program doing, uh shitty things, I think has crushed his spirit.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:11 PM ^
I don't or won't feel sorry for him. Did anyone catch how sparse the crowd was in E Lansing? It was a little over half full at the start of the game and near empty during the 4th quarter. Point being; the Sparty fans also loosing faith in the Green and White football team.
I'll enjoy see them in A2 in a few weeks with their heads hanging down.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:28 AM ^
When the team's coach has apparently lost his math skills, does it really matter???
October 27th, 2019 at 10:38 AM ^
Did he actually say that?
October 27th, 2019 at 10:40 AM ^
Well, I saw it on RCMB, so I would guess it's authentic. But I admit I didn't (and won't) actually watch his press conference, so I can't be sure...
October 27th, 2019 at 10:57 AM ^
He did. He also did his usual "It's not the coaching staff, it's the players" thing.
Pride comes before the fall, or so I've heard.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:03 PM ^
I was really hoping they would get shut out for 10/5 to 11/5 just to see what "dumb ass questions" he would get when his offense would have been shut out for a month.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:53 AM ^
Wow.
That is a man who is just collecting paychecks at this point.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:58 AM ^
Other than Michigan, they have an easy remaining schedule. The could stlll finish 8-4 or 7-5 although I think 6-6 if fairly likely. Their game at Illinois looks a lot harder than it did a few weeks ago
October 27th, 2019 at 12:14 PM ^
I wouldn't want to face a surging IL team if I were a Sparty fan. Don't know their remaining schedule so I can't chime in but if a team is demoralized the pit becomes bottomless.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:41 AM ^
Michigan State should force Dantonio out if he doesn’t go willingly. He could do decades worth of damage to that program with the shit-show he is running there right now. It is already to the point where I’m not sure why somebody like PJ Fleck would leave Minnesota for that job. And Dantonio actually looks unwell on the sideline. He has to know when to say when. Yesterday was objectively humiliating for MSU.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:47 AM ^
That MSU job looks a lot less desirable now that Michigan is almost at full speed, PSU is doing really well, and OSU is rivaling Alabama for consistency.
The B1G East is such a stacked division.
October 27th, 2019 at 11:14 AM ^
I have one friend who is an MSU fan (I live in Ohio, so he's the only MSU fan I really engage with), and he really wants MSU to get out of the East division.
October 27th, 2019 at 11:52 AM ^
Please let him know that I really want MSU to get out of the B1G.
October 27th, 2019 at 5:11 PM ^
Great story blue metal. Can’t wait for your next
October 27th, 2019 at 10:52 AM ^
I see the guys on RCMB pining for PJ. I don't see why he'd do it though. He could stay at Minnesota and build a perennial Big 10 West contender, or go to the ACC and build a team that is nationally relevant in a few years. Even the SEC East is a better landing spot than the Big Ten East. I think they're ceiling is Narduzzi or Fickell. But, yeah, Dantonio is done.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:56 AM ^
MSU is not a step up from Minnesota. Have no idea why he would make that jump. They may as well be hoping for Gruden.
October 27th, 2019 at 12:45 PM ^
Well, a Gruden is available right now. Don’t even have to worry about Oakland unlike another school in the same state...
October 27th, 2019 at 11:16 AM ^
The only Big Ten jobs that it would make sense for Fleck to leave for are the Michigan/OSU/PSU trio. The rest wouldn't justify it, not when Minnesota is in the top 25.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:53 AM ^
Speaking for myself, I would be willing to watch that unfold. They need to keep him around.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:57 AM ^
Why do you care?
October 27th, 2019 at 2:52 PM ^
Because I am capable of making objective sports conversation about sports topics other than Michigan. Try it sometime. You will suck less than you currently do.
October 27th, 2019 at 10:59 AM ^
I don't think fleck would even consider that job, the big West is way way easier than the East and he seems to have Minnesota in good shape currently. Leave there where it's essentially Wisconsin Iowa maybe once every 5 or 6 years and the off northwestern jump up year versus year in and year out of michigan, osu and Penn state doesn't seem comparable.
October 27th, 2019 at 11:42 AM ^
Yeah, his path is much easier in the West as you can't rely on Wisconsin or Iowa to keep up momentum for a full season.
October 27th, 2019 at 1:08 PM ^
While we're on the subject they should absolutely move Penn State to the west to balance the competition. The geographical distribution is beyond dumb because it's not 1923 and they aren't travelling to away games by overnight train.
