Gold Rush!
Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman wrote a musical originally called Gold (then Wise Guys, then Bounce, then Road Show), about a pair of real-life entrepreneurs and/or con men, the Mizner brothers, who "bounced" from the Klondike Gold Rush to the Florida land boom.
