Nico Collins "likes" tweet with #FireHarbaugh hashtag
It appears Nico's thumb hit the heart icon on a scathing Fire Harbaugh tweet.
Don't want to over-dramatize but I suppose this feeds the narrative that Harbaugh may be losing the team. Also may be nothing
Don't shoot the messenger.

And what was the actual tweet buddy?
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:02 PM ^
Let's use our context clues and think through why he might have liked that tweet.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:06 PM ^
What? Use sense? In a time like this? No way, MELT DOWN!!
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:11 PM ^
Yup. You’re right, he’s definitely lost the team. Confirmed, after Saturday’s showing of the team giving up, Collins confirmed what we all were thinking. JK, however, it does seem pretty clear that he’s lost the team. Or the team’s lost him.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:43 PM ^
The video in the tweet is actually pretty funny. Captured my sentiments exactly
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:51 PM ^
It was a dude pointing out how open Nico was and didn’t get the ball thrown to him. This is blow way the fuck out of proportion.
September 22nd, 2019 at 9:45 PM ^
Collins was wide open on 3 occasions that I have seen.
1. This one.
2. The Patterson throw to a double covered McKeon on 3rd and 5 in the 1st half. Collins got inside leverage on the other side of the field. This was the play after the replay refs jobbed Michigan/Bell out of a great catch.
3. A dig/crossing route in the 3rd quarter right in front of McCaffrey's face 10 or so yards away. There was no one near him. There was not a mass of bodies blocking McCaffrey's view.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:02 PM ^
Wide receivers were open everywhere. Patterson was just hell bent on throwing to a double teamed Ronnie Bell all game.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:10 PM ^
Patterson didn't throw to a lot of open receivers last year. It seems this is a problem still. Not going to be able to win many games without solid QB play and all the turnovers.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:13 PM ^
It'd be nice if he actually threw it TO Bell. He seems to always be throwing it away from him. Bell is always at full extension dive to get a finger tip on the ball. And the overturn on that catch was just fucking idiotic.
September 22nd, 2019 at 9:57 PM ^
The guys in the replay booth were fucking horrible. The on-field refs got it right, most of the time...
September 22nd, 2019 at 10:02 PM ^
And the coaching staff is stupid for not rushing to the line and snapping the ball before it could be reviewed. Obviously its better to get a quickrun in for 2 yards than to let it go to review and end up losing 25 yards. Were supposed to be up-tempo offense now and that wouldve been a perfect time to use some tempo lol
September 22nd, 2019 at 10:08 PM ^
I've long wondered why teams don't have a hot go-to play to get something off quickly in those situations. I mean, maybe you're just burning a down, but I'd give up one play for 25 yards!
September 22nd, 2019 at 11:33 PM ^
Harbaugh having the #1 and #6 QB’s from 2016 and not being able to field a serviceable QB on Saturday’s says everything about player development and why Nico is frustrated Meanwhile the #8 QB put up 62 points last November and was a top NFL pick. Sure, the OLine is a part of that but Harbaugh is ruining QB’s.
September 22nd, 2019 at 11:48 PM ^
Bingo! Yes, what you said...
kudos
September 23rd, 2019 at 1:31 PM ^
I don't think he's ruining QBs I think he's just overconfident in his ability to transform QBs and get them to make the right decisions. Shea clearly doesn't have "it". And he never has. His decision making has been terrible his whole career.
Unfortunately, McCaffrey may not be healthy for a while.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:02 PM ^
Which thumb?!? I need to know!!!
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:14 PM ^
he injured his thumb, who?
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:03 PM ^
I think it was because Nico was the subject of that tweet, and he agrees with, “ WTF was that?” He was wide open and frustrated with Patterson sucking ass.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:10 PM ^
Hardly makes it any better that he did that.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:11 PM ^
Not if he put in the time this offseason while his qb hacked it up on the links
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:13 PM ^
Ideally they wouldn't be doing anything to talk shit about each other publicly. I'd rather they address it in house.
I'm not saying I have any idea why Nico hit like on the tweet and I'm not going to try to figure out why. But if it was done to shit on Shea that doesn't make me feel better.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:17 PM ^
Yeah that’s fair
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:03 PM ^
Or it's used to bookmark a detractor to later tell them "I told you so?"
Not everything I "like" on SM is an endorsement but like I said, sometimes used to book mark something for later but then again, that could just be me.
Let's all please stop freaking out over little things like this and creating useless threads about it.
September 22nd, 2019 at 9:05 PM ^
But that’s not any fun
September 22nd, 2019 at 10:43 PM ^
Yeah, players recirculating hashtagged calls to fire their own coach isn't anything to get excited about - simmer down ya'll, this is commonplace.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:04 PM ^
Just stop.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:47 PM ^
No kidding. I'm about as inbred and stupid as it gets, but all these posts since Saturday have me feeling like Alfred Einstein.
September 23rd, 2019 at 12:07 AM ^
Stop losing
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:04 PM ^
This dumb, and you should be shot. ‘Not to over dramatize this, but I’m going to make a big deal of this’
He liked a tweet that is a video of the play where he was wide open, and Shea forced it into double coverage. I’m not even sure how scathing of Harbaugh it is, as the only mention of him is a fucking hashtag. You’re talking about a hashtag.
But please continue flaming the rumors you’ve created in your own head.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:40 PM ^
Well,he is either bashing Harbaugh or Patterson. Either way it’s not a good look.
September 22nd, 2019 at 10:29 PM ^
Well, in 9 more weeks he will declare for the NFL. Some team is gonna get a stud receiver and the recurring theme will be he was underutilized at Michigan.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:06 PM ^
And stop stalking the players.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:30 PM ^
I never really understood this take. Everything you post, like, retweet, etc on a public account with your name on it is public. This goes double when you're a public figure like a widely known player on a college team.
September 22nd, 2019 at 10:48 PM ^
Lol - you're a weirdo
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:06 PM ^
Wasn’t this posted earlier
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:11 PM ^
Yes, posted earlier within the thread about Shea's brother who allegedly posted a rant about Harbaugh and Gattis on Instagram.

we get it, we have all read that already... u bring nothing new to the table.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:13 PM ^
What if he brought something "gnu" to the table?
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:08 PM ^
Tire fire, we are. Harbaugh and Coach Ed need to take charge. Gattis offense is terrible.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:10 PM ^
Yeah this year has proven that there is huge learning curve for a first year play caller.
September 22nd, 2019 at 10:54 PM ^
thank you! Gattis got to go now. Have Ed do it.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:10 PM ^
Did you even look at the tweet?
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:10 PM ^
Mad hatter once "liked" a tweet with an anti-drug abuse hashtag. It means nothing without context.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:23 PM ^
I did that ironically, since I was on mushrooms at the time.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:37 PM ^
Canned or fresh?
September 22nd, 2019 at 11:27 PM ^
Stems and pieces!
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:25 PM ^
Stop following the social media accounts and activity of college kids you don't know.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:28 PM ^
People are generally better off unfollowing social media entirely. I say this as someone who checks Facebook and Twitter 50 times a day, even though I hate them both.
September 22nd, 2019 at 8:33 PM ^
I wish I didn't have a lot of professional contacts I only engage with through Facebook, or else that would have been toast a long, long time ago. Social media is a cancer.
