Braylon Edwards criticizes Harbaugh's approach to The Game
Not sure if anyone saw this, but Braylon is at it again. First post to the board so if anything is done incorrectly feel free to neg away. Quite honestly I am done hearing from this guy.

who gives a shit
September 18th, 2019 at 11:41 AM ^
What this guy said.
September 18th, 2019 at 4:02 PM ^
These guys get it.
September 18th, 2019 at 8:53 PM ^
Braylon's a DICK...Yeah, he's the leading receiver, but would have had more for M if he didn't drop half of the passes that were in his hands.
September 18th, 2019 at 11:41 AM ^
This. Braylon's book must not be selling.
September 18th, 2019 at 11:43 AM ^
Can anyone honestly say they are surprised that it isn't selling well?
September 18th, 2019 at 11:44 AM ^
Maybe Marcus Ray?
September 18th, 2019 at 11:45 AM ^
Fair point
September 18th, 2019 at 12:24 PM ^
Before this post, I didn't realize how much he and Ray have in common.
September 18th, 2019 at 2:55 PM ^
Braylon has a book?
September 18th, 2019 at 12:34 PM ^
Idk I think this is overblown. He was on Jalen and Jaoby to promote his book and didn't seem to be out of line with any of his comments and predicted a W at Wisconsin even tho he was wrong about our recent road record at Camp Randall.
September 18th, 2019 at 1:18 PM ^
Braylon is dead wrong about Hoke. Hoke’s #1 goal from day one was to beat OSU
September 18th, 2019 at 11:40 AM ^
Can there be a "No Braylon" rule already? Great player, but we've had enough with the bickering over his hot takes.
September 18th, 2019 at 11:41 AM ^
I completely agree with this statement.
September 18th, 2019 at 11:47 AM ^
I even have a hard time assigning the moniker "great" to him. And where does he get off criticizing Harbaugh's approach to The Game? Braylon participated in one, count it, one win over OSU in his 4 years at Michigan.
If anyone embodies the late-Carr player culture of entitlement and self-importance that ultimately caused it's implosion, it's Braylon.
September 18th, 2019 at 11:49 AM ^
Braylon participated in one, count it, one win over OSU in his 4 years at Michigan.
That's one win more than Harbaugh has managed. I'm sure it's not the same though.
September 18th, 2019 at 11:58 AM ^
You're incorrect. Harbaugh went 2-0 as a starting QB against Ohio State.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:03 PM ^
Cool, Harbaugh beat them 25 years ago as QB - I care about him beating them NOW. Too bad we don't have a QB anywhere near as good as Harbaugh was. Of course, that's on Harbaugh...
September 18th, 2019 at 12:17 PM ^
It was actually 35 years ago.
Braylon, however, is at the genesis of the backslide. 2001-2004 is when Tressel started and when OSU's dominance began. It seems like Harbaugh is trying to clean up a mess that Braylon had a hand in starting.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:43 PM ^
Are we really still blaming Carr for something Harbaugh is now in year 5 of attempting to fix?
September 18th, 2019 at 2:52 PM ^
Yes. Understand the consequences of history, and the paths it sets us down
September 18th, 2019 at 12:48 PM ^
Yeah, Braylon's destruction of Chris Gamble in the 100th was really where the backslide started. His 11 catches for 172 yards and a TD in 2004 were the sole reason the team lost to OSU that following year. He only had over 100 yards receiving in every game he played against OSU. We definitely couldn't use a WR like that now!
Then Braylon had the audacity to go out and hire a coach who didn't give a flying shit about defense! I can't believe he'd be so irresponsible with the hiring decision. Then he tries to outdo himself by hiring Fred Flinstone. God damn it, Braylon! You should have hired better coaches to avoid the OSU dominance lasting for so long.
September 18th, 2019 at 3:23 PM ^
And if I remember correctly, didn't he have a 90 yd td called back for a BS holding penalty?
September 18th, 2019 at 9:17 PM ^
I see what you did there
September 18th, 2019 at 11:50 AM ^
I don't remember Braylon ever guaranteeing a win over the buckeyes and delivering on said declaration.
September 18th, 2019 at 2:48 PM ^
Well Karan Higdon got the first part.
September 18th, 2019 at 11:53 AM ^
3-1 vs. Michigan State. Big Ten champion. All-American. Hm.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:03 PM ^
You forgot to mention all his dropped passes on easily catchable balls.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:00 PM ^
If Braylon wasn’t a “great” college player, then Michigan has had very few “great” college players in the modern era.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:07 PM ^
It's Braylon's fault that Mike Hart started with the Little Brother comments vs MSU...with those 4th quarter 50/50 balls he caught in the come-from-behind victory...
September 18th, 2019 at 1:01 PM ^
Wrong year dude
September 18th, 2019 at 3:40 PM ^
If we are placing blame on the players who won that game then you should direct it at Manningham and more importantly (in my opinion) Henne. Remember that was the game Henne ran off and tripped over the end zone, which was a great celebration from a guy playing hurt for most of the year.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:22 PM ^
Accurate.
Michigan has had very few “great” college players in the modern era.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:03 PM ^
Out of frustration, he has said some stupid stuff in the past.... this time wasn't that bad... what he said, isn't quite true, and is talking out of frustration. I'll chalk it up to him being pissed we haven't beaten OSU in awhile. Fact is, the bad path started on Carr's watch.. when Tressel started to beat him he also shut down their state recruits coming to us... that is what started it. Carr needed to hire a few Ohio guys to keep the pipeline there, and he didn't. So we got less Ohio guys who knew the importance of the big game, and we got RR.... got worse... Hoke busted his ass going into Ohio and pulling out a few good ones like Wormley, but it wasn't enough.. Only when we get tons of Ohio players again, the rivalry has a chance to flip our way again. And hopefully we win this year, and it will be a start to get more Ohio recruits.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:36 PM ^
That's because we hire Michigan Men, not Ohio Men....
September 18th, 2019 at 3:11 PM ^
i dont think ohio recruits are the answer, its just a talent and speed issue, tressel and urban understood to win in college you need speed and domination and a lot of the that comes from the south in particular georgia and florida
September 18th, 2019 at 12:13 PM ^
Great call.
September 18th, 2019 at 8:54 PM ^
Agree. I've heard enough from BE.
September 18th, 2019 at 11:42 AM ^
Why do people still talk about Braylon? Dude is trash.
September 18th, 2019 at 11:45 AM ^
I mean, then there's this take.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:31 PM ^
Just recalling his hot take from last year, calling the football program trash. Most of his complaints were okay until he started going after specific guys on the team after the ND game.
I don't get his issue with Harbaugh, but he owns more wins over OSU than Braylon's one win. So he needs to dial back the perfectionism.
September 18th, 2019 at 11:59 AM ^
If he posted his sentiments anonymously on the board he would probably have a bunch of MgoPoints.
September 18th, 2019 at 12:31 PM ^
Who's to say he isn't?
September 18th, 2019 at 11:43 AM ^
Do not care.
September 18th, 2019 at 11:43 AM ^
how many times did Braylon beat OSU? once? what makes his perspective so valuable?
September 18th, 2019 at 12:18 PM ^
He was on a team that beat Ohio State and won the big.
Here are his stats from the 3 games he played vs OSU.
2002: 10 rec, 107 yds, 0 TD
2003: 7 rec, 130 yds, 2 TD
2004: 11 rec, 172 yds, 1 TD
September 18th, 2019 at 12:50 PM ^
Sheesh. He showed up big every time The Game came around. I wonder where those numbers rank all time for a UM player against osu
September 18th, 2019 at 1:11 PM ^
Pretty damn good. I'll still take Desmond over Braylon.
