Good for him going to an organization that has proven they give no fucks about domestic violence
Got eeeem.
Abusers are horrible humans.
Did KC ignore something with Kareem Hunt before they cut him? I thought that was a bold move at the time.
I think the previous comment was referring to Tyreek Hill. He got kicked out of Oklahoma State for beating the shit out of his girlfriend, which is why he was available for the Chiefs to draft in the fifth round despite having first-round talent.
I was about to correct you and say that was Joe Mixon, but nope it was Hill too. Good Lord.

There was an article posted about Frank Clark on here a few months ago that states the domestic violence accusations may be less “torch and pitchfork” as some may want.
Damn they gave up A LOT!
KC is breathless to win while Mahomes is on his rookie deal (or before the league catches up to his film, whichever happens first).
Mahomes name will always remind of a great Dad-joke my kids told me a few years ago...
What did the Mexican-American say to the two houses that fell on him?
Get off me, homes!!!
That is truly awful.
So, 10/10 on the Dad Joke scale.
Be honest, did they really say “Mexican-American?”
My kids go to Ann Arbor schools. Yes, yes, they did...
Wow not sure at all about this one KC. In a draft absolutely loaded with down linemen you're giving up a ton to get Clark. He's good but why not offer the same package (KC #1 & #2) to a team in this year's draft in the 10-15 range? There are going to be some excellent defensive lineman sliding (I'm looking at you Rashan Gary), and when you couple the predictable run on soon to be back-up QBs at the top of the draft pushing more defense players down- I'm surprised they made that trade.
I would have traded down as a lions fan for that second round pick.
I think the logic is:
- Clark is a better pass rusher right now than anyone they can draft
- Pay him the big contract while Mahomes is on his rookie deal
Still so much to give up! Word was "Seahawks are looking for a first" which is not a thing Seattle would leave out there if they had other offers in hand with a first.
Rashan may fall relatively speaking but I’m willing to bet good money he still goes top 20.
That's kinda my point though. Let's say hypothetically he falls and is available at 18. You dont think the Vikings would swap 18 for the Chief's 29 and get a 2nd round pick as well?
Now you've got your pass rusher and he's also on rookie contract so you can go address another need instead of giving Clark 63MM.
Oh I 100% agree. I think this is a very poor use of resources by KC.

What?! Ok, you can question the contract but Frank Clark, while being a disappointing person, has proven himself as an elite NFL pass rusher. Gary wasn't even a truly great pass rusher in college (though the potential was evident). There's no comparison on which one is more likely to get sacks and hurries. The Chiefs are in it to win it.
My guess is because you know what you have in Clark, and a draft pick is a gamble
They lost John Dorsey to your browns and look at this fuck up.
This off-season the Chiefs essentially traded Dee Ford and a 1st for FrankClark. Idk what the difference is between Clark and Ford but it sure as hell isn't a first.
This is not really about Ford vs Clark. This is scheme move. The Chiefs are switching to a 4-3 from a 3-4 this year and Ford has never played in a 4-3. The more interesting comparison is that they essentially traded a 1st, 2nd and a Top Tier Edge FA (Trey Flowers) for Frank Clark.
Adam Schefter just tweeted that Clark signed with the Chiefs for five years, $105.5M with $63.5M guaranteed.
/whistle
And the knock on John Dorsey at KC was didnt know how to manage the salary cap.
Damn, he should open up a shelter for battered women.
Seriously, put some of that to good use; redemption style.
Andy Reid is desperate to win before he eats his way out of coaching. Imagine the danger of being between him and the post game spread after the AFC Championship game. Looking forward to the Frank Clark - Tyreek Hill PSA's.
Where have you gone Abe Gibron...
Imagine being in the middle seat with them on either side. Big trouble when each has to ask for 2 extenders...
(shrug)
I would have guessed the Browns would have been interested. (cough, cough ... Kareem Hunt ... cough cough)
I have a hard time pulling for Clark, unless he somehow had a real epiphany and turned his act around.
We probably were interested. But not at that price tag.
Besides Dorsey has figured it out. Wait until uber-talented players like Hunt f-up and get cut from their present team and then you can sign them for pennies on the dollar.
Seriously though watch the draft day two. If he's there the Browns will DEFINITELY take Jeffrey Simmons and he's no domestic violence box of chocolates either.
Guys like him don't tend to have epiphanies as long as there are employers willing to overlook their sins to pay them millions of dollars. But hey, it's the NFL - beating the shit out of women is fine, as long as you don't kneel during the anthem.
Nice
Interesting that so many fellow Michigan fans are not willing to forgive Frank Clark, but they have no problem heaping praise on Taylor Lewan. Just an observation.
They are both ridiculous and unwarranted but I think it might be a tad easier for people to forgive a (drunk) football player who gets involved in a bar fight with (most likely drunk) rival fans vs one who gets drunk and fist fights his sober girlfriend.
Pretty sure the fact that he intimidated an alleged rape victim is the bigger of the issues Lewan had. On top of the fight and being a real dirty player
He may be referring to the fact that Gibbons victim (alleged? I honestly don't remember if/how that was adjudicated) claimed that Lewan threatened to rape her if she didn't drop the charges against Gibbons.
Nitttttttiiiiiii!!!! Slaps shower walls in Ray Liota Goodfellas fashion
As a Broncos fan, this makes me sad. At least Frank will have a good chance at making it to the Super Bowl this year.
Frank Clark= a 1st and a 2nd RD picks
Antonio Brown= a 3rd and a 5th RD pick
I don't understand the NFL

Only saw headline and thought "naw that couldn't be Frank Clark. Must be some other Clark" Shaking my head - he'd better not screw up any further or else he's off to Cleveland...
Wow! What a terrible trade for KC. They gave up a ton of draft capital there.
