NCAA Basketball Championship Game Open Thread
Kentucky may very well win this. The brow should be at full intensity...
There is always this theory about Kentucky basketball as well...
He would be quite the face of a franchise.
I have a bunch of work to do and playing NHL seems like a better way to procrastinate than watching a game that likely won't be in the record books in 5 years.
Championship Games are always sad for me, cuz I know that as soon as it's over, it's the furthest point we can be from that sport coming back to our viewing pleasure. I don't want to watch this game, but I will. I can't help it, I love sports.....
Agreed. The moment the final second ticks off of Michigan's last football game I start breaking out in hives. Nine months seems entirely too long to wait for another season.
I purposely refrain from having sex to fill the first month of "No Michigan Football" bordem. I can't take the risk of having a baby during opening weekend or ND weekend.
This is the only time abstinence sounds like a good idea to me.
My team out + brackets fucked + piece of corporate shit with slicked back hair and assembled riff raff = I don't care.
But I'll probably watch anyway. Part of the problem I shall be.
Those that call yourselves basketball fans, exactly why wouldn't you watch?! I don't think Kansas will get rolled as many do; I think they can hang around and compete with Kentucky's athleticism.
Please Kansas, please win. Living in SEC country is already bad enough with football. Please don't force me into listening about SEC basketball now.
There is no "SEC Basketball". There is just Kentucky.
Exactly, they wouldnt be this dominant in the Big East or the Big Ten.
My bracket is completely screwed. Silver lining is I may still get the Champ right. I'm sure most of America picked Kentucky too though. Any Ashley Judd sightings?
Those are the words to the national anthem, but....
Is anyone here rooting for Kentucky (and not for bracket reasons)?
Only because I wanted to see the Pistons have a shot to draft Anthony Davis but they are playing themselves out of a chance at that unfortunately. Although he's probably going to leave win or lose.
Pulling for the underdog tonight. Why not? YOLO!
I have doubts that they can pull it off but I'm rooting for Kansas to beat Calipari's cheating ass.
Yeah that was....horrible. Roseanne's version was better than that mess.
The players, or Calipari?
Will it even matter if Kentucky wins? Given Calipari's track record there'll be no record of it in a few years anyway.
None of these other schools' bastardized versions of "Let's Go Blue!" sound as good as the original.
CBS needs to cut the mic of whichever pep band just played.
Seriously? They're going to mention Calipari's great coaching career and not mention that his final four seasons at UMass and Memphis were forfeit?
...that the only game they actually mentioned was his loss to Kansas in the final?
They can't talk about the wins because they were vacated. But the losses stand.
The only way Kansas is going to get anything inside is by way of dunks. This little layup bullshit is going to get swatted into the 6th row all night.
I'm not actually watching but I have a feeling Kentucky will win by 10+ maybe even 15+. Kansas has slipped through the tournament with closet wins over Purdue, NC State and Ohio State while Kentucky has been pretty well steamrolling everyone
It's google based advertising. I get ads for homebrew supply stores because I shop for homebrewing equipment online.
This could get ugly. UNLV-Duke ugly (the first one, not the one UNLV threw the year after).

"RT @DanBeebe Perhaps letting Charlie Weis give Kansas' pre-game speech was a bad idea."
