It just says he's not close to a decision. Lame!
Well it's not like he can really make a decision until his grades are settled anyway. This truly is a lame update.
The reason that was posted was because there was a rumor being spread by the mods at the MSU rivals site saying that he was close to a decision. The post was really for the users of the Michigan Rivals website that had been talking about it on their board, saying those rumors were incorrect. Furthermore it does say that he's really coming along with getting his grades in order so there's hope for him. Which is actually HUGE. Not a lame update at all.
Although I like information too, the way people love to create posts around here, if there's information worth knowing you probably don't have to ask for it. If you need to ask, it means no one is willing to share the premiun info or there's nothing to know.
I'm not bashing you for starting the thread, just predicting that it won't be fruitful.
I know you're right. They just do a good job of selling their product sometimes, and makes me think they know something even people on our board doesn't. Call me a pigeon.
You are a pigeon.
Just don't call him surely.
He's more concerned about grades at the moment, than making a decision I believe..
Wow, maybe that's because the school(s) he wants won't take him until his grades are in order. At least he's making an effort to focus on his grades, hopefully he realizes a lot more doors will be open to him if he does.
It says he is only considering MSU and UM
his ACT is in order. Just needs to put in course work, he'll most likely qualify but it'll be tight
Roller coaster tycoon might be the greatest game of all time
Have you ever played rail baron? Much better, but kind of a rare game. I have trouble finding people who've played it.
My housemates and I played that game back in school. The first half of the game was always awesome (acquiring routes, expanding your network), but I found the 2nd half really boring, as the game was usually decided by that point, and all you do is roll dice and move where you are directed. And, since the game took hours to play, it was a fair amount of boredom.
I thought my friend must have created the game himself because I had never heard of anyone else playing it. Agree that the end really drags out...
It's being taken as a given over there that there's an issue other than grades. It sounds behavioral but none of the contributors over there are saying anything specific.
Sounds like there might have been some altercations w/ classmates. Someone from FHH can probably elaborate
I am severely uncomfortable watching people here and on other boards talking about a 17 year old's classwork, his ACT scores, his "disciplinary record." Frankly, it's none of our business, the young man is entitled to his privacy, and it doesn't take much for the Internet to turn rumors and lies into gospel (as we repeatedly learn with members of the football team).
Leave Burbridge alone. Just because Rivals wrote something doesn't mean this board needs to expand on it.
