My favorite is PNC Park. It is just perfect in every way.  My least favorite is the current Yankee Stadium. How such a historic franchise has such a soulless stadium is beyond me. Tropicana Field gets a bad rep, but is actually so bad that it's kinda fun!

Yeah, I tend to roll my eyes…

Yeah, I tend to roll my eyes when a self-proclaimed "hockey fan" starts talking about fighting. Fighting is necessary sometimes because refs can only do so much to protect players moving at such speeds, but 99% of enforcers today are taking an NHL roster spot away from many more deserving players that actually want to play hockey.

4 - I'll root for them to do well when they don't play my favorite team, especially if it can calm down some of the Chiefs hype machine

Kenny G! Dude is a freak of nature and is a blast to watch!

I feel the same way, and I…

I feel the same way, and I think I know why. Those events felt like reasons (or at least proofs) that Michigan would never be able to win a title. Now, it is clear that M00N and the Horror and Shane Morris's concussion did not cause permanent harm to Michigan, but were simply part of the journey to this title.

The coaching search updates…

The coaching search updates leading up to the Harbaugh hire are what brought me, I was a longtime lurker before staring to post

Seeing as they originally…

Seeing as they originally didn't want a transfer QB, then went after Cam Ward, and only landed on Will Howard after those options fell through, I find it interesting that so many people have such high hopes for this move - especially when there is probably a reason why Howard was the only high-profile QB left without a team

From the MGoBoard FAQ:

From the MGoBoard FAQ:

What is the board's tolerance for language?

Calibrate your language to what it would be at a Michigan tailgate with lots of strangers. We don't ban people for expletives (we do track them though) but we do ask that you avoid offensive language. If someone corrects your language (e.g. please don't use "thug" due to racial overtones) try to respect that. Avoid blasphemy too please--in this you can follow the main page writers' example in using cognates like gotdang, goldang, gotdam, or change up religious expressions to made up/generic polytheistic ones like "Pray to the holy Denard" or "the gods."

Odunze is very good, but no wr is in Harrison's league. He's one of the best in cfb history imo (but 0-3 vs Michigan!)

You could have used any scenario at all to make your point, and chose to compare a football team making the playoffs to the Germany winning WW2?

We beat Penn State last week, so I think the transitive property argument is a little weak

Yet the game was close on…

Yet the game was close on the scoreboard

The scoreboard included a meaningless touchdown after the game was essentially over, an Michigan chose not to implement the forward pass in the second half.

As a Michigan fan, after two consecutive blowout wins, I'm inclined to agree with the OSU fans:  They don't need to change anything at all! Just change your signs, and keep doing everything else exactly the same, please.

This year seems like a…

This year seems like a pretty good year to play osu twice, with how underwhelming they have looked. Of course, I would not want them to have the satisfaction of backing into the CFP (again)

You're not wrong, but New Big 10 > New Big 12

The Athletic was better than…

The Athletic was better than that. But then the NY Times bought them.

We could win the CFP this…

We could win the CFP this year but it will have a huge asterisk beside it

I would not worry about this, the only ones who will consider an asterisk would be the cooler-poopers, and their opinions do not really matter after the smackdown they will receive.

People still care way more about Georgia being champs than they did about the Jordan Davis situation, Auburn's championship still counts despite them paying Cam Newton, and Jameis Winston stealing actual things (not just signs) doesn't take away from FSU's championship. If Michigan wins it all, the gripes of sore losers will not detract from their championship one bit.

Hard to turn down the only decent B1G game of the season so far

Looks like somebody missed the Iowa - Wisconsin game!

They had one bad half…

They had one bad half against Maryland last week

I think all of these …

I think all of these (accurate) points would still hold true if both programs move to the Mountain West. A consolidation of the massive schools into just a couple of schools is fine, as it produces more exciting and realistic conference races in the other conferences. The Big 12 without Texas/Oklahoma, the MWC with WSU and Oregon St, and the Sunbelt are all extremely intriguing conferences that true college football fans will easily love.

Man, watching Ryan Day melt down after the game over a talking head's comment makes you wonder if he's feeling a little pressure after a couple losses to Michigan

"I can only conclude that there is an ulterior motive designed to terminate my contract based on some other factor such as a desire to avoid any Nasser taint, or my race or gender," Tucker wrote.

I'm sure that MSU is looking to terminate the contract because they are biased against having a male football coach.

When they started running ads, I was done. I would have paid a higher subscription for no ads, but that was not an option, and the ads were embedded into the article so intrusively that it felt like reading a crappy travel blog.

The fact that the Big 12…

The fact that the Big 12 jumping in line ahead of the Pac 12 to sign a TV deal is enough to kill the Pac 12 conference is quite the condemnation of the state of college football imo

In the past 50 years, the reds and cardinals have the same number of world series wins, so if your only counting world series-winning seasons as "good teams" the cardinals haven't been any more successful, despite a much larger payroll each year (including this year, when they are in last place)

Very fun season indeed, so far! I hope they stand still at the deadline, getting Green and Lodolo back from the IL will be enough of an addition. To connect the reds to a Michigan blog, a most beloved Reds legend who currently calls many of their games is former Michigan shortstop Barry Larkin!

Miami (NTM) has repeatedly said they would have no interest in remaining in the NCHC if ASU was added, so further moves could be coming. Most logical landing spot for them seems to be CCHA

The Stanley Cup playoffs is the most exciting time of the year. The speed of the game makes it by far the most entertaining sport imo, while it feels like basketball has way to many stops in action due to the frequency of fouls, out of bounds, and timeouts
