Yeah, I tend to roll my eyes when a self-proclaimed "hockey fan" starts talking about fighting. Fighting is necessary sometimes because refs can only do so much to protect players moving at such speeds, but 99% of enforcers today are taking an NHL roster spot away from many more deserving players that actually want to play hockey.
I feel the same way, and I think I know why. Those events felt like reasons (or at least proofs) that Michigan would never be able to win a title. Now, it is clear that M00N and the Horror and Shane Morris's concussion did not cause permanent harm to Michigan, but were simply part of the journey to this title.
Seeing as they originally didn't want a transfer QB, then went after Cam Ward, and only landed on Will Howard after those options fell through, I find it interesting that so many people have such high hopes for this move - especially when there is probably a reason why Howard was the only high-profile QB left without a team
Calibrate your language to what it would be at a Michigan tailgate with lots of strangers. We don't ban people for expletives (we do track them though) but we do ask that you avoid offensive language. If someone corrects your language (e.g. please don't use "thug" due to racial overtones) try to respect that. Avoid blasphemy too please--in this you can follow the main page writers' example in using cognates like gotdang, goldang, gotdam, or change up religious expressions to made up/generic polytheistic ones like "Pray to the holy Denard" or "the gods."

As a Michigan fan, after two consecutive blowout wins, I'm inclined to agree with the OSU fans: They don't need to change anything at all! Just change your signs, and keep doing everything else exactly the same, please.
This year seems like a pretty good year to play osu twice, with how underwhelming they have looked. Of course, I would not want them to have the satisfaction of backing into the CFP (again)

People still care way more about Georgia being champs than they did about the Jordan Davis situation, Auburn's championship still counts despite them paying Cam Newton, and Jameis Winston stealing actual things (not just signs) doesn't take away from FSU's championship. If Michigan wins it all, the gripes of sore losers will not detract from their championship one bit.
I think all of these (accurate) points would still hold true if both programs move to the Mountain West. A consolidation of the massive schools into just a couple of schools is fine, as it produces more exciting and realistic conference races in the other conferences. The Big 12 without Texas/Oklahoma, the MWC with WSU and Oregon St, and the Sunbelt are all extremely intriguing conferences that true college football fans will easily love.

Miami (NTM) has repeatedly said they would have no interest in remaining in the NCHC if ASU was added, so further moves could be coming. Most logical landing spot for them seems to be CCHA
The Stanley Cup playoffs is the most exciting time of the year. The speed of the game makes it by far the most entertaining sport imo, while it feels like basketball has way to many stops in action due to the frequency of fouls, out of bounds, and timeouts
