Maybe this has been said before, but I’ve thought Garza is Iowa’s version of Kevin McHale. He is crafty and physical in the post, lots of pump fakes, uses his elbows to create space and hurt his defender, and he is universally despised by opposing teams.
While many have mentioned All Day IPA, I think Perrin’s No Problems Session beer is better.
And for the fall...Bell’s Best Brown Ale is my go to—just had one with dinner. Grab it now because it’s only released for a couple of months in bottles.
Garza reminds me of a poor man’s Kevin McHale. Long arms, keeps the ball high, and works the defender till he gets that turn around jump shot. He’s tough.
Great start to the game...then we survived a five or six minute drought. Livers was a great spark plug out there. Last year he was only a defensive player this time of year, now we can depend on him scoring big buckets.
As a B1G fan, do you root for or against Maryland in the OOC? I want to root against them because of their crappy coaches-don’t want the coaches to be rewarded with wins and contracts etc, but then it’s easy to want to just root for the players as a way to honor their teammate.
Actually, maybe this is an easier call...I am rooting for the players.
Loved how the announcers seemed surprised that Michigan came out in a man2man defense tonight. Were they expecting a zone because we really don't do that? But, they certainly saw and then complimented the great defense by all the guys tonight. Loved the effort, loved the solid rebounding and then pushing the ball up the court for good looks before their defense got set. What a game!

When do they honor the Seniors during Senior Day? Is it before the team runs out to touch the banner or after that? I want to make sure that I'm in the stadium on time.
Like everyone else...I'm certainly disappointed and frustrated about last night, But last night there was some epic complaining going around here. You nicely laid out the facts...we control our own destiny and I'm pretty sure that is all the coaches and players care about. Want to be a champion? Win!
One more thing...isn't this why we love college football? I hate the losing, but it's the fact that each game matters so much. I love the joy and anguish of watching this team each week. I care about how things turn out. College football is so much better than the NFL. Each win is so much sweeter and each loss hurts more. I'll take it.

I enjoy reading Ticket Watch each week. I should have listened to your advice earlier about Indiana. I had found a couple of nice tickets in section 20 or 21 for around $60 each back in Septmenber and I waited...even though you said Buy Now. I finally grabbed a couple of endzone seats in October for $70 each. Taking my son to his first game for his birthday...I'm pretty pumped!
