It's just not a simple as stacking the box and trying to force Michigan into a 3rd and 3 every set of downs. You can do that and a couple of teams have tried, but that gets tiring for their D line and you have seen the results of that all year. The other team collapses into the 3rd quarter and Michigan runs them into the ground.
However, OSU has a bench and can rotate. I don't know if there would be enough time in the game to wear them all down. It will have to come down to passing.
JJ has had problems with his long-ball touch this season. I'm expecting to see Michigan pound OSU once again and hit the TE with crossing routes. Donovan Edwards can really upset the apple cart and I hope he gets used. Edwards is a superstar in waiting. He can run, pass, catch, and do all with grace and ease.
I expect Michigan to keep the game close to the vest. A knife fight in a phone booth type of game. Out muscle them once again. I expect OSU to pander to the fans and go for the long ball, quick scores, and make use of their receivers. Stroud has proven he's not real good under pressure when he's being chased around. We keep the ball out of Strouds hands and the Michigan team will have a fun bus ride back to Ann Arbor.

Yes, the Wisconsin HC and Assistant were 100% in the wrong. 100%. Wisconsin was the instigator in this instance and they need to take responsibility for their part. That's just an aside and that's for Wisconsin to handle.
For our part, (Michigan) you can't have your HC pimp slapping anyone. You just can't. Howard needed to do a 180 and walk away from Wisconsin's HC and avoid this situation. I understand the heat of the moment, but when you make millions of dollars and are the "example" for the kids underneath you and a representative of the University, you HAVE to be able to avoid this. It's part of your job description.
Because he was not the instigator, I think this saves his job. However this does not save his reputation. Howard needs to sincerely apologize for his actions and for the students as well. Everyone involved needs to sit out a few games and maybe Howard suspended without pay until the end of the season while taking anger management classes. Something needs to be done besides a 1 game suspension.
I don't like this any more than the next guy but the hammer has to come down hard on Howard to justify keeping his position.

In another words, Georgia is good, but not as good as the perception of Georgia in the SEC.

This year has been special. Looking at the two SEC Deathstars in front of us, it's hard to imagine us getting through both of them, but it was next to impossible for us to get through OSU.
I think a lot of this is perception vs reality. Alabama has looked shaky at times this year. Georgia really hasn't had the type of schedule Michigan had to endure and that showed when they played Alabama. If you put a Wisconsin or Penn St. uniform on those teams, we would look at them differently. It's all perception.
The team that gives me pause is Cinti. They are fast, quick, well coached, but small. I think Cinti is the team that would give Michigan the biggest problems. We match up well vs. Georgia and Alabama. Depends on which Alabama shows up.
I think Michigan is sound enough to do real damage in this playoff.
I'm really hoping for Harbaugh's sake that Michigan does well. Harbaugh deserves that. It's been a rough couple of years for him and this vindication will right the ship.
We can't pay Gattis enough to supplement a HC job. If that's his dream, he will go. I hope he stays but you have to look at the Alabama program and Saban loses so many good coordinators and still manages to do just fine.
