I would take him as a top 5…

I would take him as a top 5 draft pick.  He's smart, quick on his feet to avoid sacks, makes big plays out of busts, is very fast, agile, and has a great accurate arm.  I think he will go early and be an amazing success in the NFL.

Too soon?!?

Too soon?!?

I didn't know anyone on…

I didn't know anyone on their roster and had their game on in the background.   All of the sudden the announcer says "dumbass gets the rebound" and I about fell out of my chair!  I have been rooting for dumbass ever since... he's my favorite player (kind of reminds me of myself at times).  It's so much fun to listen to.  Dumbass for three, dumbass with the screen, he's just all over the place!

Agreed.  I don't follow the royals, but this is bad for anybody regardless of your position in life.

For the Rose Bowl of '81, we…

For the Rose Bowl of '81, we played Washington.  I was in the marching band and we shared the cafeteria with the Huskies band on UCLA campus.  At some point during every meal... every stinking meal... a Washington band member would stand up and shout - "Hey everybody, what time is it?"  And the entire band would reply "It's time to bow down to Washington", and they would then proceed to sing their stupid fight song.  It was such a "high school" move, and very low class.

The Michigan Marching Band had this amazing arrangement (John Stout wrote it) of Elton John's "Funeral for a Friend" as part of our halftime show.  A small group of us decided to respond to their silliness with class and formed a circle in the middle of the cafeteria as the Washington band sang their song.  When they had finished, we started singing our parts for Funeral in response.  As other Michigan band members saw what we were doing, they joined us.  By the end we had a huge group of singers, belting out that moving finish.  When we were done we said nothing, sat back down to our meals, and the cafeteria was silent.  The Huskies band knew they were outclassed.  I don't remember for sure, but I don't think that they sang their silly fight song for at least a few meals.  I don't think I was ever as proud of any organization I have belonged to since that moment.

Oh, and we kicked their butts, 23-6!!!

Happy now?

I went to a Ted Nugent and…

I went to a Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes concert when I was in eighth grade (73) at the Jackson Armory.  A friend and I went and we saw a LOT of things we had never seen before.  I can't believe my parents dropped us off at the front door and his Mom picked us up at a restaurant nearby.  The highlight of the night was a glass ball (about the size of a soccer ball) placed on top of an amp.  He kept edging higher and higher notes until the glass cracked.  The crowed went wild... oh and then he faced an overdose/freakout (at least I think he was faking).  Long time ago in a galaxy far away!

I was at that game in the…

I was at that game in the band as well.  My freshman year.  At the very end of the broadcast, they zoomed in on George Cavendar and the band leaving the field.  I was close behind him, and was on national TV - the agony of defeat.

I will never forget the joy turning to pain as what we saw (the fumble) turned into a touchdown by the refs.  Such a bogus call.

This, exactly THIS!!!!  Last year their coaches (let that sink in - THEIR COACHES) were encouraging their defense to try to injure our players.  I'm concerned that will be their main agenda this weekend.  They know they can't win, but if they take out a knee or two of our key players, they can maybe ruin our run for the title.

Let's go!!!!!
