Would you guys say JJ …

Would you guys say JJ (Without even starting yet) is the second most popular UM athlete behind Hunter? (Naz Hillman was in the convo before getting drafted too).

This is one of the things I…

This is one of the things I love about Michigan, also one of the things that frustrate me at the same time. I understand that brand is important and I’m not saying corrupt your culture but damn, you’re one of the richest schools out there. Spend some money and win. I’ll root for Michigan either way but this is what I would love to happen.

I can’t wait for the B1G to…

I can’t wait for the B1G to do this.

It’s so crazy to say as a…

It’s so crazy to say as a devout Wolverine. Lebron James is my favorite basketball player in the league and my second favorite of all time behind Zeke. Now it’s time for me to duck LOL.

Cade is a top 10QB in UM…

Cade is a top 10 QB in UM history IMO. Not based on talent and athleticism but based on football IQ, Leadership, Having clutch moments and being a flat out winner.

Sidebar: who are your top 5…

Sidebar: who are your top 5 NBA players from UM of all time?

mine are as follows:

C Webb

Glen Rice

Cazzie

Jamal Crawford

Juwan Howard

Jordan Poole the best player…

Jordan Poole the best player from UM in the NBA for sure.

Timmy B

Timmy B

I can’t stand msu, not even…

I can’t stand msu, not even a little bit. The truth is when you beat your rival you rub it in when you can.

Jaelin’s (even though it’s…

Jaelin’s (even though it’s spelled differently) typically turn out to be legends in a UM’s basketball uniform.

Although consistent…

Although consistent production wasn’t there for Moussa (He had some great games), his body type and athleticism is just what the NBA craves. If he develops offensively he could be really good.

AI is one of my absolute…

AI is one of my absolute favorite players ever and Jett Howard will be a heck of a player for UM.

I’d take Emoni in a minute…

I’d take Emoni in a minute because Juwan’s personality is so strong and the culture is so strong it can handle this young man. Rasheed Wallace was looked at as a renegade until he came into the Pistons culture. I’m the type of fan that wants UM to have all the talent it can get, because if all things are equal talent usually wins out.

For the life of me I don’t…

For the life of me I don’t understand the arguments I’ve heard some analyst on tv as well as certain radio personalities make regarding Aidan. In that, some don’t believe he has a high ceiling, I call BS.

Aidan is a hard worker, he’s great for your locker room, he leads by example and he produces at an elite level. He is the total package and I’m proud he went to UM.

Best Big man in the country…

Best Big man in the country that isn’t a 1 or 2 and done. Love this decision.

UM will challenge for the…

UM will challenge for the B1G Conference title and the NCAA championship if two of the top three return and Shannon is made official, along with the incoming recruiting class.

Best former UM player in the…

Best former UM player in the league right now IMO.

I wouldn’t worry too much…

I wouldn’t worry too much about this. For one It’s still early and things can change and for two Harbaugh is the type of coach that seems to like players who fit “his” culture rather than just who has a 4 or 5 star rating. I always have thought of Harbaugh as a far better coach than recruiter (and I know a staff plays a huge part also). For instance believe it or not I think Hoke was a much better recruiter than Harbaugh but not in the same galaxy as a coach.

If you’re in the NBA you are…

If you’re in the NBA you are an elite athlete, you may not have elite athleticism.

Poole is the best pro UM has…

Poole is the best pro UM has had in bball in a long time. Franz will be very good as well.

I really hope we get Dante…

I really hope we get Dante Moore. One of the most talented kids at QB in years in our backyard.

No Particular order for me:
  1. No Particular order for me:

UM vs OSU 1997 (Woodson vs Boston)

UM vs OSU 1995 (Biakabutuka game)

UM vs MSU 2004? (Braylon game)

UM vs OSU 2021 (That scene at the big house was unreal)

UM vs ND forgot the year (First night game at the big house, Denard to Roundtree)

Great analysis, admittedly I…

Great analysis, admittedly I tend to rank modern era players over older era players because of the evolution of the sport and the athlete. I take into account nutrition, personal training, speed, Strength, more nuanced schemes. Modern day players have so much more at their disposal that makes them better IMO (not taking anything away from older era players).

One of the most underrated players in UM history is Ty Law who was a lockdown corner and a NFL hall of famer. In terms of top 10 players at UM a guy like Dan Deirdorf can easily be overlooked but should not be, he was sensational.

Another UM great that is not one of the GOAT’s of UM but was a dang good player is Marcus Ray who had a very high IQ as he was the QB in a lot of ways of the secondary and was a hard hitter to boot.

A guy like Brandon Graham was a great UM player that played on some very underwhelming teams because of a lack of talent and coaching but he still was dominant at times and was consistently a beast on the line.

I love Denard and all the…

I love Denard and all the wolverines who wore that legendary uniform. Having said that Woodson is the GOAT by a wide margin IMO.

on a side note Braylon has been controversial at times (although he’s one of my favorite players at UM) but he definitely deserves consideration for top 10 UM player of all time.

Coach Howard is one of the…

Coach Howard is one of the hottest up and coming commodities in coaching. That said, I believe he stays at UM at least until he wins on the last Monday night of the CBB season.

That’s a terrific idea.

That’s a terrific idea.

I love that the staff always…

I love that the staff always goes after elite prospects, if we can grab some elite guards the program will go to the next level because they always have great big men. It’s difficult to guard a well balanced team obviously.

Grandson of the greatest UM…

Grandson of the greatest UM coach in my lifetime. Love Lloyd Carr!

When do you guys think CWood…

When do you guys think CWood will get his number retired? (Although I believe Will Johnson will be great)

Michigan will repeat as B1G…

Michigan could repeat as B1G champs. Harbaugh has re-created a winning culture with toughness and a chip on his shoulder and the players follow suit (thanks also to the leadership of Ross, Hutch, Haskins, Ojabo etc.) that set the tone for the culture.  Same culture as Stanford with better athletes. UM will be a contender for the foreseeable future.

Larry Foote is one of my all…

Larry Foote is one of my all-time favorite wolverines and a legend in the 313!

Kaepernick is an advocate…

Kaepernick is an advocate for Justice and I for one support what he has and does stand for. If I’m a civilized person and value humanity how could I not?

regardless of other deals and endorsements he may have, there’s not many athletes I’ve seen (maybe I can count on one hand) that would sacrifice a professional playing career and all the perks that come with it.

I believe Saddi can get a…

I believe Saddi can get a bigger job than that. Terrific coach.

I love it. What a phenomenal…

I love it. What a phenomenal player and person.

How many pure athletes have…

How many pure athletes have we had better than Peppers at UM? Not stats or impact just raw athletic ability?

I would hate to be a student…

I would hate to be a student athlete and read this thread that “I suck”.

This game is not about X’s…

This game is not about X’s and O’s it’s about blatantly missed opportunities. Keep fighting Team!

All he has to do is look at…

All he has to do is look at Bam Adebayo in the NBA, Hunter, Teske, Diabate, Austin Davis etc. Coach Howard definitely knows how to maximize the talents of big men.

On a side note: I can't wait until we get that CWebb/Anthony Davis/ZIon Williamson type post player. It's going to be fun to watch.

Great gesture and I love the…

Great gesture and I love the culture of the program at large. Also Hunter is a top 5 big man in Program history.

I like your starting 5…

I like your starting 5 TruBluMich, the only difference I would have is at PG, I would have Jalen. This is a great discussion.

Michigan just beat a team…

Michigan just beat a team that was arguably the best defensive team in the tournament and we were around 8 point underdogs. I think if we continue to execute and keep hunter and Diabate very active and efficient down low we have a good shot. We must play excellent defense and hedge screens on their Point Guard because he can get hot in a hurry. I like UM getting revenge from 2018 in a close one.

IMO Hunter is more skilled…

IMO Hunter is more skilled but Moussa's athleticism and versatility defensively makes him more equipped for today's NBA. That being said, I think Hunter may better than many people think at the next level because of what he's added to his offensive arsenal. Interesting discussion for sure.

Two Words: Juwan Howard!!!

Eli was terrific. Two Words: Juwan Howard!!!

My main hope is if St…

My main hope is if St. Peters can beat UK we can beat UT. Go Blue!

Hail yeah!!!

Hail yeah!!!

Praying for Ojabo. Terrible!

Praying for Ojabo. Terrible!

The reality is the post…

The reality is the post season is a new season. What happened in the regular season and B1G tournament no longer is important. If we’re speaking of seeding and better draws to get to the final four and pre-season expectations I can understand your view.

Aren’t they in the round of…

Aren’t they in the round of 32?

I think we all know why ( at…

I think we all know why ( at least to an extent) but I will say this, I love Michigan and all it’s coaches but I have to say I have never rooted for a coach as hard as I root for Coach Howard. Partly because of the hatred the fab five got from the media especially and even some terrible fans (watch the documentary if you haven’t), along with the fools on local radio and others questioning his coaching acumen. He was an all-American, top 5 pick, two time champion, all star and learned from one of the best organizations in the NBA. I believe he knows basketball and will continue to grow as a coach. He’s already more accomplished in 3 years than a guy like Fran McCaffery.

Great adjustments by Juwan…

Great adjustments by Juwan and staff. Frankie Collins looks to be the PG of the near future. Great team win!
