I knew someday this…

I knew someday this extremely poor choice of handles would come in handy.

Just read that a couple…

Just read that a couple months ago. Really enjoyed it. The Fever is another good one that's on the newer side. Heard the Twelve is good too.

For TV, can't really beat the early seasons of Walking Dead, although I had to check out on that show a long time ago.

Can't be a bad thing to get…

Can't be a bad thing to get some IMG momentum early in the cycle.

I'd be down for that if you…

I'd be down for that if you need any additional players.

Does it help our chances if…

Does it help our chances if we tell him he kind of looks like Tim Riggins? I would think so.

I thought the same thing. He…

I thought the same thing. He looked friggin jacked last night.

Hate to rag on a guy in a…

Hate to rag on a guy in a slump, but what the hell is that "skyhook" shot lately? He doesn't look at the rim and puts zero arc on the shot at all. It's like he just throws the ball horizontally in the general vicinity of the basket.

For a large portion of the…

Cincinnati airport is in Kentucky and for that metro area, UK is the closest major program. We should be going hard for kids from Toledo and Cleveland though at least.

And Ace put a CB on Rocco Spindler. Ace, any new insights here?

Hahaha blast from the past…

Hahaha blast from the past. I was 12 as well and grew up about 5 minutes from GR Christian. The pronunciation of "SteiGINGa" is still etched in my memory.

I'm so tired of guys getting…

I'm so tired of guys getting their shit blocked into the second row. Tell me you wouldn't give anything to watch Wesson slide over trying to throw his hip into Todd only to get fucking dunked on and teabagged. I'm ready to blow the talent gap out of the fucking water against the rest of the league, let's go

Lol. Now we're talking.

We need to get Maize and…

We need to get Maize and Blue in on the recruiting efforts. Get him a sandwich on the wall.

That pass at the 1:05 mark…

That pass at the 1:05 mark looks really good - 45 yards or so right on the money between two closing defenders.

Rutgers fans booing babies…

Rutgers fans booing babies in Michigan gear on the jumbo was a new level of classy fandom.

What a great role model this…

What a great role model this kid is for standing up publically and speaking so honestly about his struggles. I'm very proud and impressed by this brave kid.

Tthe Michigan Members Only…

The Michigan Members Only jacket we've all been waiting for.

The Doug Baldwin (see link)…

The Doug Baldwin (see link) story gives a pretty clear picture of Harbaugh's style. He describes him as a "military type," who almost led him to quit football altogether. What starts out sounding like a slam on Jim is actually a pretty objective take on how players react to him. Baldwin admits he hated playing for him at first, but later realized he was behaving like a know-it-all and not putting in the effort. Once he did those things, he became the team's top receiver in his senior year who was ready for the NFL.

https://www.businessinsider.com/doug-baldwin-nearly-quit-football-under-harbaugh-2015-1

In this link, he adds:

"But I actually thank him now for the adversity he helped me through, so to speak. He made me who I am today, a better person and a better football player. It's nothing against him personally."

What I take from it is that lazier players and "me first" guys aren't going to do well under Harbaugh, but players who are willing to work hard and do what's asked of them can thrive. Strikes me very much like the other story Sherman is running his mouth about, which is passing on the Lions because the Patriot way is too much work. Some guys will definitely prefer the Pete Carrol path for a more player-friendly experience, but others will appreciate the workhorse mentality. JJ McCarthy seems like a great fit in this sense.

I can't make threads, so…

I can't make threads, so dropping this here. Anyone know what the story was with recent transfer portal add from Penn State, 4-star DT Ellison Jordan?

Apparently, he had a promising early redshirt freshman & sophomore seasons but struggled with injuries and ultimately wound up off the roster in 2019.

Looks worth kicking the tires on, but I'm not sure if he had some other baggage that we might not want around.

EDIT: Found this story which seems to answer the initial question somewhat - https://thespun.com/college-football/4-star-sophomore-says-hes-contemplating-if-he-should-still-play-football

Getting Wagner hot and…

Getting Wagner hot and turning him into the alpha dog is the only hope without Livers. I would almost turn him lose to shoot 10-12 threes tomorrow against Nebraska and see if he can get some mojo going. He clearly has a great shot, they just aren't quite falling with regularity. Every three he shoots looks like it's going in and somehow rims out.

Alternatively, Teske shooting six threes is not okay. He's lucky to make contact with physical matter of any kind, let alone actually make his shots.

I imagine Patricia liked…

I imagine Patricia liked what he saw in Uche. It would be fun to see him in Lions uniform.

Good forward-thinking move.

Congratulations buddy…

Congratulations buddy. Reading your initial post and knowing you’re a sports fan, I know you made the right choice. Passing up the opportunity to go to a great university with the sports program we have is something you would regret forever. It’ll change your fandom forever getting to experience Michigan football as a member of the school. I know academics should be the main reason for the decision, but I have so many friends who regret not attending a big college sports school. It’s really a once in a lifetime experience to work hard all week and then get to wake up on Saturday morning with 110,000 of your new best friends and head to the big house.

Shoop is potentially great…

Shoop is potentially great for succession planning & stability as well. If Brown opts to leave in the coming years, we have a potential built-in replacement - assuming he proves himself in the meantime.

Can we discuss that we have…

Can we discuss that we have a quarterback with the last name McCaffery that grew up getting his ass kicked in the backyard by his brother Christian? I'd take that background over the five-star transfer who threw 12 interceptions and fumbled eight times in ten games for Ole Miss.

Speaking about his brothers, Christian did state that all four were very competitive. In the McCaffrey household, the four siblings were playing something at every opportunity: Two-on-Two basketball, knee football, and king of the hill (If it snowed, as it often did in Colorado).

"Whatever it was, we were doing together," said Christian. "My brothers are my best friends, and made it really fun growing up."

My moment in 1996 would have been unforgettable, except MY FRIGGIN MOM OPENED MY ACCEPTANCE LETTER before I got home.

Most importantly, do you go…

Most importantly, do you go by Anus Tart or A Nu Start?

It's time for JUB to go all…

It's time for JUB to go all in on the expose' of OSU recruiting misdeeds. I'm surprised no Michigan journos have done more to uncover some dirt and get it out there. It shouldn't be that hard given the number of former and current Michigan players that were recruited by both teams.

I think it's probably not a…

I think it's probably not a bad thing to get a choir of critics going about Harbaugh's recruiting. He does seem to respond when the criticism ramps up, so hopefully, he'll make recruiting a huge priority in filling the vacancies for the position coaches.

I like the idea of hiring the KY DB coach Clinkscale who has the Oak Park ties. That would be a good place to start.

If you guys could drop off…

If you guys could drop off some warm delicious pies things would get so much better on the trail.

Anyone have any insight to…

Anyone have any insight to Spindler's leanings? Seems like he's been a heavy favorite for Michigan for a while but no real updates that I've seen lately.

Please for the love of God, can someone hire Brian Hartline?

Shea's lawyer from when he…

Shea's lawyer from when he transferred to Michigan is now part of the NCAA on the "complicated case unit," so he's got that going for him. I wouldn't underestimate the likelihood of the retroactive part of the rule getting changed.

Let it ride. Worst case, we're all miserable just like we are today - just like we were last year after Florida. If we pull off a W, it's a huge momentum boost and a nice emotional lift for the whole program going into next year. Plus, it'd be a good opportunity for the NFL guys to improve their draft stock after blowing it against OSU, so I don't think many would sit.

This is an unbelievably good idea. Let's make this happen right before the first offensive series,

Would you mind reupping this to mediafire or somewhere? I've been looking everywhere for this and the original link is no good anymore.

Thanks!!!!!
