Goals scored even strength…

Goals scored even strength do not prematurely end the offending penalty like scoring on the (non-Major) PP does.  It works that way in every level of hockey that I've witnessed - admittedly not many outside of NCAA/professional.

It was truly a horrendous tripping call.

I think there's actually not…

I think there's actually not that much controversy in that scenario:

#1 - UM

#2 - Oregon

#3 - Texas

#4 - Alabama

All would be P5 conference champions, pretty clear cut delineation.

It won't happen...BUT they're not going to leave out undefeated power 5 teams...so if UM, FSU, UW are all 12-0, and Texas wins, you have to go with Texas...right?  Texas beat Bama which beat Georgia (in this scenario).  I get the "worst loss" argument, but you literally have a head-to-head win which should count more, IMO.

If the Pistons win tonight,…

If the Pistons win tonight, it will mean they did something they didn't do all of last season - a 3 game win streak.  Hell, they only had one chance at a three game win streak last season.  I'm not a big NBA guy, but it turns out having an all-star caliber player is rather important.

As for the Lions...hoping tonight proves the last game was a bit of a fluke.  The division has been all but gift-wrapped to them.  With Cousins going down, it's likely no other team is going to make it to 9 wins, so just win the games you're supposed to and they'll be fine.  That starts tonight!

Wings have looked good for the most part...the scoring surge at the start was always going to be unsustainable.  Still, fun to watch, for sure.

Exciting times where all 3 are on the upswing after years of basement dwelling.

Ehhh...it probably depends…

Ehhh...it probably depends on what you're relating to, right?

Relative to the rest of the Michigan offense?  Sure, he's the "trouble spot."

Relative to an average right tackle in the Big Ten?  Ha, no.  There are some putrid OL's out there.

I'll answer your question with another question - how is it that in 2022 there's a forum that does not allow editing of the OP?

I appreciated the help on the pronunciation of Jordan Johnson.  Thanks, Seth.
