First of all it's PETE Finebaum. Second: Finebaum rule. waliwiz1 sent to minor (-200 points) Bolivia, can use his re-leveling time to acquaint himself with board rules.
I don't see how I am supposed to know about a no Finebaum rule. There's nothing under ethics or useful stuff where it states this.
Also I don't see a "rules' page.
I'm more interested in seeing a map of Minor Bolivia and where it is wrt Greater Bolivia.
The Maizen/not Maizen stuff is damned exhausting for a pile of reasons but I don't see how 1201's personal attacks are ok.
Someone told me to kill myself the other day and a small but vocal segment of posters constantly tell me "go fuck yourself" but you're coming here because I jokingly responded to someone who keeps calling me unemployed (which btw is a personal attack) and tries to leak my real name (thankfully incorrectly in this case)? Isn't there a policy about doxxing anyways? You're not coming here because of a personal attack you're coming here because you want me banned because you don't like my sports takes. Get real man. Seth has bigger things to deal with than this crap that no one cares about not even the person I'm responding to.

What content I like or agree with doesn't matter in terms of who should be posting or not posting. This board is better with a range of opinions.
Your WD personal attacks aren't the first I've seen on here from you and that feels like it doesn't fit the board so went to the place where someone who knows what fits can decide if it fits or not.
Yes it is messed up which begs the question why you didn't bring it to this thread but when I jokingly tell someone to exercise after he tried to reveal my real name and called me unemployed you're here acting high and mighty. If the joke landed poorly I apologize but you should be just as upset if not more with what WD said which you aren't and that reveals your true intentions here. There's a lot of mud that gets slinged between posters on this board much worse than this don't clog up this thread with nonsense, Seth has a site to run.

So is your "I'm here because he personally attacked WD" schtick. I've interacted with Seth and David thru email several times trust me when I say every time he has mentioned he doesn't like dealing with nonsense like this.
I'm sure the board moderation sucks! Seth (or whoever else, I don't bug mods via email so I don't know how the structure works) is welcome to look at this and ignore it or delete it or whatever.
I don't care that it's WD I just don't think there's a place for personal attacks and there are things I view as personal attacks (go kill yourself, your comments) and things that aren't (GFY or you have too much time on your hands). Went to the structure that exists on this site to decide those things if I'm wrong I'm wrong.
If people brought every little thing that was said about them or someone else here this thread would be 1000 pages long. You have to have thick skin and be able to take a joke just as well as you can give one which is exactly what happened in this case. I know the real reason you're here and it has nothing to do with what you're claiming. We're all adults here so please lets not act all snowflakey.

Maizen negs Owen's posts, I upvote Owen's posts. Maizen makes new post and immediately upvotes himself, I immediately neg Maizen's post to cancel his upvote. Rinse and repeat, over and over and over again...
Im not sure if anyone is still debating that 1201 is Maizen or whatever any of the other 10 accounts he has are called. His constant concern trolling shouldn't even matter... the guy has been banned from this site over and over. Why keep allowing his new accounts to come on here and rile people up with his bullshit narrative?
I guess it drives the board to a degree because people do seem to enjoy coming together to call him an ass. Mods just tell us if you want Maizen around as a board constant to unite people against idiocy. That would at least make sense.

Is there any way to ban Maizen/1201's IP address? He seems to be bad for the community and you would probably be doing the guy a favor from a psychological standpoint.

Suggestion: A moratorium on threads about the Fab Five. I know this is difficult with Juwan now being hired as the new head coach, but threads specifically intended to pick the same old fights about the legacy of the Fab Five are totally played out. I keep reading people talking about upvoting and downvoting posts and comments but I don't see any option to vote. Is this option only for certain posters?
You have to get to 300 (I think) MGoPoints (a combination of posts + "up votes" others give you). At 100 MGoPoints, you can start a thread.

Yo Vinny, I've been at ZERO points for almost THREE years. Getting very frustrated with the whole situation as it appears that others are getting their accounts fixed yet mine is still not working nor can I get a response as to when it might actually work.

Essentially mod or Seth needs to give you at least one point. Once that happens it removes the curse or bypasses whatever is wrong in the first place.

The content is great but the message board functionality feels like it is from 1999.
Can they really not find and utilize something like the reddit model - with its ease of up/down votes, reviewing post history via the Username and quickly accessing direct comments & posts from the links themselves?
This all seems very antiquated.

Something's wrong with the site--most likely one of our security features getting overly aggressive--that has been getting users stuck. I can jog it by giving them a few points, and then they start accumulating them normally. But what we're planning on is a big sweep of everyone with zero points to give them points for all of their posts to date at once, as well as a fix for the problem. I'm using your account on our dummy version of the site to test it. We almost had it working last friday.

We've been getting targeted by a right wing reddit group that's been trying to harass us, and while most of their actions have just been annoying--creating accounts to post pro-Trump political material, tagging us into right-wing threads on social media--because of things that have happened we've been advised to take this very seriously and keep records.
