Is Michigan-ND the return of the Under the Lights series?

These just popped up on MDen.

Under the Lights IV? First time this has been used since the 2014 PSU game which was billed as Under the Lights III

It's systemic...

which I personally believe to go right up to El Presidente

I will personally loath M.S. Coleman until the day I die! (she may not be there anymore, but damn that lady did a whole heap of shit wrong!)

What does MS Coleman have to do with the state of Michigan athletics today?  She didn't hire Harbaugh.  She didn't make these shirts.  She didn't hire Howard.  She didn't hire Pearson.  She didn't sign ND up on whatever terms they wanted.  She didn't hire Manual.  Dave Brandon is almost 6 years removed from the AD - his past influence is gone.

WTF?

When I hear "Under the lights," I think of beating Notre Dame.  But I also think of Dave Brandon.

How about a t-shirt with a picture of a cartoon Harbaugh stomping Mr. Purple Face's head?  In the background, the scoreboard reads Michigan 63 Notre Dame 0.

Ugh.  I really, really, REALLY hate Notre Dame.  Really.

WD, i  really mean no offense here, but I sometimes wonder what I could accomplish if I could attack anything with the enthusiasm with which you attack apparel news. Why does it look like these were made hastily this week by an intern using powerpoint?

Who are the 6?

I can only recall 5 since UTL:

Notre Dame x2 (2011, 2013), Penn State (2014), Minnesota (2017), Wisconsin (2018)

Who am I forgetting? (and to be clear, not sarcastic, I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting)

I see so many people getting annoyed about this in the comments because Michigan is *gasp* trying to sell merchandise.  Why does this bother people so much?  Is it just "cool" be to against making money?

Literally, every major program sells branded stuff and seeks to maximize profits on such sales.  People will buy these, and the school will make money.  Some of that money will filter into things like facilities, recruiting, etc.

Serious question - why does this bother people?
