As a broke Michigan student, I can always go for a free t-shirt, even if it means spending $30. Hope even this minimal donation goes a long ways. Get better, Ace!

Can't agree with this any…

Can't agree with this any more.  I was also at the game, and my feelings leaving the stadium were very negative.  Upon re-watching the game, there were several 50/50 plays and calls that could've gone either way that ND seemed to capitalize on.  My hope is with this veteran team, specifically the defense, we can turn this narrative spread by the media that "the sky is falling", and use this game as a learning opportunity.  The loss stings, but we still have all of our goals in front of us.  Also, sidebar, Shea looked great IMO. He throws well placed balls, meaning that he doesn't simply complete passes, but he hits receivers in the part of their body that the ball needs to hit depending on the route.  We don't have Wilton in there throwing the ball over receivers heads, or JOK simply taking sacks.  For that, I am thankful.

Appreciate the in depth look into these concepts. Here's to hoping they're effective next Saturday!

PURE SPECULATION

This is coming from a friend who happened to be in the same location where this went down... Take it with a LARGE grain of salt, but it's interesting that these key figures were all in one location.  This is AT LEAST a signal that Drevno isn't simply sitting pretty in Ann Arbor right now.

Sorry about the double post...

Drevno to CMU

My buddy just spotted Drevno at a restaurant in Mt. Pleasant with the CMU coaching staff.  No maize and blue attire to be spoken of.  Possibly going through an interview process? Could be an interesting development.

Edit:  For anyone who reads this far down through this thread, my friend was seated in the booth beside Drevno.  Apparently, John Bonamego showed up, closed the deal, and Drev is set to become a part of the CMU coaching staff.

Dantonio and Izzo IMG_1318.PNG (Not sure how to link in a tweet given that I have no Twitter) but this picture seems indicative of these respective coaches positions. Glad the university is cleaning house. Hope the next regime emphasizes institutional control and attempts to aid the victims of these travesties. Can't imagine the damage these two men have been able to circumvent while in charge (with the full support of the university no less). Edit: Image is a tweet from MSU's barstool sports Twitter: "BREAKING NEWS: Sources close to the athletic department reporting that Izzo may retire within next few days. Dantonio soon to follow."
