I don’t like watching the game itself. I love to play it, but not watch. I follow the team and I root for the team, but only go to a game every few years.
The parachutes jumped from a C-130, that made a few passes pregame. Are you sure that you aren't thinking about that aircraft? If so, that's a Vietnam Era plane.
Fall of 1982, we (Ypsi Braves!) played CC on the field at Livonia Bentley. Both teams were highly ranked, and we hadn't beaten them in 20 years. Early in the game we drove down inside their 10 but the drive stalled. Stevie Lawrence kicked a short FG to put us up 3 - 0. The rest of the game was a back and forth slug fest that resulted in no points! I'll never forget the feeling of that clock running down, and the celebration that ensued!!!
I also remember our only loss that season to Adrian, but I won't talk about that :)
But he appears to be bigger than he is because he's next to Morris. If you meet Morris in person, you quickly realize that he's no where close to his reported size.
The Porkies has tons of trails that range from beginner to pretty rough. Camping is found all through the park, with rustic cabins, and tent sites. My wife and are in our 50's and love the park.
The Chapel Loop at Pictured Rocks is a long day hike or a nice overnighter. The views from the top of 100-200ft high cliffs are absolutely stunning! This is a MUST do hike in Michigan.
