No Suriano tonight. Word is that he has to complete enrollment this week so he cannot wrestle until after that's finished.

Both made the Olympics…

Both made the Olympics. Micic for Serbia and he's already taken 2 Olympic redshirt years so he can't take another and Myles for San Marino. He's only taken 1 Olympic redshirt but a lot of wrestlers opt to train freestyle specifically and avoid folkstyle while training for the Olympics. Jelani Embree is the one I'm not sure of. I expected a big year from him and he's been AWOL without any explanation.

Very. Wrestling is a full…

Very. Wrestling is a full year sport. Especially if he has aspirations beyond college. Not even to mention the diet you keep all year to maintain weight and body conditioning as a wrestler. This kid is a Pennsylvania State Champ. It isn't too far fetched to think that he's coming to Michigan to focus solely on wrestling.

Not sure if this was posted…

Not sure if this was posted anywhere, and not NCAA Friday football related, but Michigan commit Braiden McGregor went down hard and had to be carried off the field and into the locker room tonight. Didn't look great.

From what we've heard…

From what we've heard locally, he was full steam ahead for the Irish. He took sign language as his foreign language and Notre Dame doesn't recognize that as a foreign language credit and that turned out good for Michigan.

You're an SC guy? Me too!

You're an SC guy? Me too! Williams can definitely ball.

I'd love to finish the…

I'd love to finish the season watching Michigan shut UCF up. Can't see how anyone wouldn't want that.

Notre Dame every other year…

Notre Dame every other year can lose every game they play, but this year I'll happily take them winning out to the playoffs.

After that I'll take LSU beating Bama this week and then be hoping they fall to A&M in the last regular season game.

That happens, and Michigan wins out and wins the B1G Title game, that's a 1-2 of Notre Dame vs Michigan with a chance at a rematch for the Natty.

That's asking a lot, but a boy can dream....

I've seen their paperwork…

I've seen their paperwork first hand and you are correct. Also, these boys have been playing together since at least 10u.

I don't know what you've…

I don't know what you've been watching if you think it's slow and straight forward. These are 12 year olds hitting mid 70s from 46 feet away. That's equivalent to a high 90s reaction time at the major league level. Add to that curve balls that drop a good 8-10" and try to hit that. Most of these kids are AAU/Fed ball kids. They get enough games in to qualify for their Little League All Star teams. Once these kids reach even the state level, they can compete or beat  the best teams in their regions regardless of level.

My son plays for St Clair…

My son plays for St Clair Little League 12u team and I coach. We've played the Grosse Pointe team 4 times this year and multiple times over the last few years. They're simply on another level. They play both as GPWS little League and Little Caesar's fed ball team. During the state championship game vs Bay City (which was hosted by our  little League in St Clair) they were down 4-0 in the 3rd. I was watching on the left field fence. Oliver Service turned around and told us he was gonna hit one out next inning. He then proceeded to smash one about 250 ft top right center and then hit one even further to left center his next time up. They did have 5-6 errors but their bats can easily overcome that. I fully expect them to do some major damage in Pennsylvania.

Romeo Meems

I've seen Meems play a few times now since my town plays his HS (New Haven). This kid is legit. Best player on the floor with 2 other D1 kids on his team and 1 from our school.
