See this type of attitude is why we lack passion in these rivalry games. It's not fucking OK I would rather lose every game of the year except msu and osu. There is no point winning all these games if you can't beat your rivals. Don't get me wrong this team will be much better but no matter what we should lay down to a loss like this. I belive ESPN has stopped putting the "1st tier" play by play and color guys to reinforce down playing the B1G. When is the last time Brad Nessler or Mike Patrick did a B1G game. We get Joe Tessatore and who ever that was vs. Iwoa. No disrespect but Greise is young in his career and even as a Mich alum. he is on the bottom of the totem pole.
Great point. I think Denard and the O line have trouble reading blitz's and the recivers have trouble seeing it too. Got to be able to hit the hot read so that you can take advantage of the gap in coverage. Lets not forget that this is a new offensive system, adjustments at the line will come after the system is in place and we have a guy in place that knows the offense.
Alright I'll give those two MSU has good defense.....BUT IMO they have played a bs schedule. tsio o-line let them through to the qb and when they played ND the got owned. I just don't think that MSU is as strong as the "experts" think. MSU will come out fired up but when the game settles down i think you will see Michigan move the ball on offense and do a good job of bending but not breakin on defense.
I think this defense more so than most D's in the last 10 years is able to step up in big situations. 3rd and short, 4th downs, red zone, and goal line. They looked coached and it looks like 11 guys are always on the same page.
If i was a sparty fan. It would ruffle my feathers that the helmets have a "golden domer" look to them. If nike ever tried to put some blue or wing look to tsio's helemts columbus would explode. MSU is just excited to get some attention I guess they wil take what they can.
Those are great stats, but after the last 3 years and then the 1 vs.2 game against tsio. This team wil really be judged on how we finish. Just think of the 07' team, even with the HORROR finishing beating Florida and Tim Tebow it was considered a solid team.
Dude you heard the BTN announcers...NO SLEDS for practice.....WTF! I really wounder what kind of focus RR put on the D...in any?! Give them time this year the starters to bring them self to the surface and let the system set in.
I am always excited to see the Wolverines on in practice and fall camp. But are they really gonna bring light to anything that we already don't know. I love BTN but at times I feel like they are very good "insiders". All you out there that follow fall camp closely what can we look forward to tonight?
I ofte wonder if the BTN feels it needs to make crazy perdictions because it is a smaller media network. You gotta stick out cant be like the big boy sports channels.
The part tha really sticksout to me is the refrenceto coach carr and being around the football program now that RR is gone. Wonder if there is ever going to be a book by coach carr....that may or may not ref. how he felt about RR......hmmm
After reading this i hopped over there and read about Dunn's BBQ visit. Its all assed up. Not intelligent conversation just Michigan bashing and durka durka ohio durka crap........American by birth.....Michigan fan by grace of God.
Gotta be calm the season hasn't even started. We can't expect recruiting to close out so soon. We have been fortunate to have such a great number and quality of incoming players.

i like all the info on the team break down. but part of me wonders that nationally the michigan brand spread west to CA, TX and other states after Desmond won the heisman. I could be wrong but i think that with all the success in the early 90's it help pull more kids from those states. Like now with a "slight" backslide in recent years we are not neccessarlly so prevelant out in CA. who knows football changes, kids change, recruiting changes.....
