At the game. There's a pretty good amount of Michigan fans here. Maybe 30% of the total crowd, and most of the people in the stands behind the basket Michigan is going towards right now.

NASCAR has had several…

NASCAR has had several shocking deaths, most famously Dale Earnhardt Sr., but, if you want to talk about completely shocking, the most shocking were the deaths of Alan Kulwicki and Davey Allison in 1992 and 1993. Both passed in aircraft crashes (helicopter for Davey, and plane for Alan) while at the heights of their respective careers. Alan was the defending champ when he passed, and Davey was a young driver who finished 3rd in the points right the previous season. Plenty of NASCAR drivers died while driving, and it was always a thought in the back of fans' minds, but losing such big name racers off the track was truely shocking.

Of course, just when my family wakes up, that's when we screw up

LETS GO! COMEBACK TIME!

I think I said this last…

Double post sorry

I think I said this last…

I think I said this last year, but we keep watching this game during our family Thanksgiving meal. We look like chumps every year in front of family that doesn't care about football.

I'm a young guy. I've only ever seen Michigan beat OSU once in my life. Is that better or worse than someone who's actually seen us win?

I think the boosters will be…

I think the boosters will be clamoring for some kind of change after this game, and after what we've done this season

The worst thing about this…

The worst thing about this game is we had two weeks to prepare. Wisconsin had two weeks, and the scoreboard shows who did a better job with their two weeks

Did anyone else notice…

Did anyone else notice Harbaugh started sucking at coaching when he started wearing those Woody Hayes glasses? Just food for thought

Does this mean we are as…

Does this mean we are as good as Oklahoma was last season?

The plan with the league (to…

The plan with the league (to the best of my knowledge) was to split players up based on where they played in college or in the NFL. That's the reason Denard is with the Atlanta based team. The draft they just had was solely for QBs. I believe in the future drafts will be a more NFL style affair, but I'm not 100% on it.

It nearly worked out badly for them. If we don't

Double Post

It nearly worked out badly for them. If we don't It nearly worked out badly for them. If we don't commit five turnovers, we win that game easily.
Mark Dantonio has been able to recruit the players Mark Dantonio has been able to recruit the players he wanted for the last 10 years. They may not be highly rated players, but they fit the system that MSU has. When one graduates, another one can step up and take his place. That's what we need here, but we are not far enough along for that to happen yet.
Young Team/inexperience + playoff caliber opponent Young Team/inexperience + playoff caliber opponent + night game/national tv + 110,000 person home field advantage = a blowout. Once we get to the point where we losing our starting quarterback does not kill our offense, we know we have a shot at winning a lot of games.
Those teams (Bama, Ohio State, Michigan State) Those teams (Bama, Ohio State, Michigan State) have had more than 3 recruiting cycles to build up depth. In a couple years, we won't have to worry about players leaving for the NFL.
Firing Drevno isn't going to be the magical fix Firing Drevno isn't going to be the magical fix for this offense that a lot of people on this blog believe it will be. The problem with our offense is the inability for the players to execute the plays, not the plays themselves. If we were to fire Drevno, it would further set back the offense's development. The constant turnover of the offensive staff only made the RR and the Hoke years worse. I wouldn't like Peters to spend his time learning a whole new offensive system instead of focusing on being taught how to be a good quarterback by Harbaugh.
I'm not saying that Tennesse is playing good, but I'm not saying that Tennesse is playing good, but Bama isn't playing like the juggernaut I thought they were. I was thinking this game would be closer to their game against Vandy.
I was expecting Alabama to be up by 21 near the I was expecting Alabama to be up by 21 near the end of the first quarter. I haven't watched a snap of tide football all year, so I don't have a great backround with the team's play this year.
Bama vs Tennesse Bama isn't beating Tennessee as bad as I thought they would. In my opinion, Tennesse has held up relatively well against Bama so far, but I think that shows more about Bama's play today than Tennessee's play.
