Developed into one of my all time favorites. I binged watched it on Netflix and when it was over I felt a huge hole in my existence. I had carved out so much BB time it left a void. Enter SOA! Loved it. Hopefully Saul continues the path of development.
That Junior just may tear it up this year. When he committed we acted like he was the "Savior". He had everything we wanted in a QB. Obviously the common thread among our player is their lack of development. New Coach. New system. Why not?
This is a Michigan type back. His film isn't amazing as in long runs, but it's the small things he does with vision, toughness, dude can run. 6'1" 210lbs in H.S. Running behind an avg at best SHS O-line. Seriously...after a Red Shirt year could be a monster addition to the program.

Over the top. Needs to put his pads on the ball carrier more. He has this strange hit then snare the leg thing going on. Almost an arm tackle, effective for High School. In College a RB would run through some of those. He does get to the ball!
To Atlanta was really close too. I came away from that loss thinking they're definitely a different team. In defeat there wasn't a head hanging low. They had a look in their eyes as if they would die trying to win. Detroit vs Everybody!
I'm watching, streaming on my ROKU. Decided to watch the Oregon feed cause I couldn't stand hearing the ohio guys blowing themselves all game. Plus there is a feed showing the skycam view with no commentary to hear.

Should be Morris. Expecting a big leap from him with the proper guidance (which he should have). We haven't seen a rocket arm like that since it left for Arkansas. At one time Shane had all the moxy of a future great M QB. Have faith. He has a dominant skill set in his arm strength. If the WR's get use to seeing his ball all the time, they will get better at catching it. Harbaugh will get him together and we will be fine.
Some may say it is a gimmick, but a well played one. Remember how the recruits got behind it and started identifying themselves by their class number? If the players are eating it up, may as well continue. it just adds to the theme of tradition, team, and actually sets us apart as not too many other programs can match that number of football classes.
to put on 5-15 lbs this off season. That seems to be the trend especially for upper class men who know how to weight train. This OL is actually on par for their age and experience in the program. Had a conversation about our possible returning OL a month ago. I'm really excited about the possibilities going forward.
Alternate uniform. I am all for tradition, however, these kids are different. They put a high premium on their "swag". It may not seem like a big deal to the fans, but trust me. These kids go "Ga Ga" over new unis. Essentially it is a recruiting tool.
