Wow, very interesting. I like Wow, very interesting. I like the idea and especially the story behind it.
I like on other sites when a I like on other sites when a link is included in posts or stories that a new tab opens in the browser when the link is clicked rather than redirecting the current page away to the linked page. That way we don't have to keep shuffling back to mgoblog after we click a link and are done with it. Kind of a run-on sentence but I don't know how else to phrase it. ha.
Yeah man, A.J. Yeah man, A.J. Westendorp! He's big (6'2" 210lbs) and athletic and a very accurate passer. He set a state finals record with over 440 total yards, over 300 passing with 4 tds. Last I saw he was like 24-30 passing in the finals game and I think he had around 60 total tds on the year. Best of all he has a 4.0 in the classroom. I know he's a senior, Tom do you know anything of where he's going? Or if he's getting recruited by anyone big?
yes yes
yes yes
hahahahahahaha. Captain hahahahahahaha. Captain Insano shows no mercy.
Great post, very informative. Great post, very informative.
Well, I've actually been

Well, I've actually been reading this blog for about a year now and just recently joined to comment on people just like yourself. But you're right, you probably know more about Michigan football than I do since you've been a "member" of this blog for a whole 2 months longer than me, a lifelong Michigan fan.

I just find it hilarious that State fans have nothing to say for six, seven years until they finally beat us, a 2-6 team. Then all of a sudden you guys are world-beaters. Like I said before, congrats on your win. I seem to remember you guys losing to Central two years in a row a while back, but then again, State never, ever loses to a MAC team at home.

And you guys were GREAT last year with D Thomas. A loss to BC in the Champs Sports Bowl. Congrats man. You guys have been to 18 bowl games in your sad program's history while we're on a 34 year bowl streak (which will end this year). Oh, and you've only won seven of those 18 games. Can't State fans just be happy with a win or do you guys all have to blow shit out your ass every time something "good" happens to your team?

Get the fuck off this blog.

I'm glad some one else is I'm glad some one else is sick of it too
What?

Do you honestly have nothing better to do as a State fan then come on a U of M blog and talk shit to us?

We explain our more highly rated recruits being beat by State as just that, they're basically still recruits, eight games into their collegiate careers. In fact, you could make the case that Michigan's entire team may as well be freshman when they are all running new schemes that were just installed eight months ago.

Congrats on your victory, just realize that you won't have many more once we get back on track, because, no matter how much you want to deny it, State will always be Michigan's LITTLE BROTHER. You can't stand up to us in recruiting, talent, or coaching

P.S. You guys are a 3 to 4 win team at best right now without Ringer. Good luck next year with your great coach and team.

great post great post. great Bo quote.
agreed agreed
dammit people can we leave dammit people can we leave politics off of this blog?
I agree with everything you I agree with everything you said here. We need to use McGuffie more like Reggie Bush and get him into open space and up the seams in the middle of the field, i.e. his late reception over the middle against Toledo and his t.d. reception over the middle against ND. Trent has been horrible this year and his tackling has been atrocious. Other than a missed tackle on a bubble screen, Cissoko played GREAT yesterday and overshadowed Trent as a true freshman in his first game. We have a pair of good ones in him and Warren.
Come On

What do you expect RR to do this season with an unreliable o-line (look for Brian's breakdown of o-line recruiting the past 5 years) and two quarterbacks who cannot consistently throw the ball down the field? I mean, you've seen our run game. The line can't even get a push for Sam I Am to get going. Throw on top of that a horrid pass game that can't consistently attack vertically and it spells offensive disaster. I just don't know how anyone can really, really blame the coaches when the talent is way below subpar on both the o-line and at the qb positions along with trying to implement the spread with 3 classes of student athletes who were recruited to run the pro set.

RR went 11-1 or 11-2 three seasons at WEST VIRGINIA. He'll get it done at the most highly prestigious collegiate program in the country. Next year: #5 recruiting class in the nation(as of today). 2010: 3 five star recruits already committed. Yes, I'll concede RR this year.

 GO BLUE

amen. amen.
also true opinion seconded. this guy is a moron.
You're Right!

truebluegeorgia is right. The defense was horrid. They got torched for six points! What an abysmal performance. Let's burn Schafer at the stake. Are you effing kidding me "trueblue?" The defense gives up SIX EFFING POINTS and you say they got beat up? And what do you expect from an offense with NO LINE, a FRESHMAN quarterback and FRESHMAN (minus Matthews) at EVERY skill position. You're a moron. But you are right about RR setting us back. We don't have the number 5 recruiting class in the nation for next year and 3 five star recruits ALREADY committed for 2010. Go cheer for State and good riddance you fair weather fan. THOSE WHO STAY WILL BE CHAMPIONS. There's a reason Bo created that phrase his first year at Michigan.

p.s. You're probably one of the people who boo'd and left at halftime of the Wiscy game and in the fourth quarter of the State '04 game.
