Current DPT student Hey Jeff,

I do not currently go to UM Flint, but I did look into when applying last year. Biggest turn off for me was faculty turn over and the overall price of tuition for said turnover. From what I had gathered from PTs I shadowed was that CMU, GVSU, and Oakland had overall better programs for around the same price as UM Flint. Facilities are really good though. I have a couple former classmates there and they seem to enjoy the program pretty well.
Watch out when you apply too because if you get accepted, they will respond back really quickly about putting an expensive deposit down ($500 I think). I put the deposit down out of pure excitement for getting into a DPT program and now I'm in Arizona so if you think you can get into other schools, take that into consideration. I wouldn't be surprised if in the future UM Flint is a top DPT program in the state, but it might be good to weigh the pros and cons of other schools too.
It's also A protected 1st round pick. If the Pistons make the playoffs each of the next 3 years, we won't end up giving up the pick.
I feel like The force was awoken in her first when she grabbed the light saber, and then he tried to extract the map. I think it's important to note that he help expedite the awakening, but the saber/memory thing was the first trigger.
Yes.... I would say that having a three years of 4,500+ passing yards would constitute "having it in him". It's hard to win if your offensive line can't defend the pass rush and can't open holes for the running game.
I look at Stafford like a Carson Palmer. Palmer had 10 years on inconsistent play and being overhyped. Now that he's in the Cardinals system where he has decent blocking, a solid run game, and weapons on the outside, they are consistent winners.
Plus, who would you choose to replace Stafford? Orvlosky? FA like Ryan Mallet? Draft a QB and go through 4-5 more years of growing pains?
Nah I would send the O-line packing before Stafford
You can hit with the helmet A player that possesses the ball can be hit in the head by another players helmet. It becomes targeting when the hit is on a defenseless player or when the defender uses the crown of the helmet. Rudock slid way too late to be protected by the "QB slide rule", so he wasn't defenseless. It was a good no call. If Jake had slid 2 steps earlier, then yes that would be targeting.
When Bolden was blocked into Cook, it looked like he was using the crown of his helmet to spear Cook who was already on the ground (thus defenseless), even though the refs missed him being pushed into Cook.
The slide was late I think it was a good no call. Jake's slide was really late, like REALLY late. He could have and should have slid a couple steps sooner. By the time he tried to slide he was already being contacted by the first defender and the second defender had no way to change his angle of attack. Let's just be happy that Wilton was able to come in and provide a little stability at that back-up spot.
