I have been using Sync.com…

I have been using Sync.com for the past 3-4 years. Can install on multiple machines and stores up to 2 TB. Cost is $96 a year. Create a Sync folder on your computer and put everything in it. Backs it up right away to the cloud. Also has a vault feature where you can upload other content that is not in your Sync folder. I have been very pleased. I only pay $50 a year as I am grandfathered in, but also only get 500 GB of storage.

Glad to see you mentioned…

Glad to see you mentioned The Leftovers and Rectify.  Two great dramas.  I forgot about Hannibal. Mads Mikkelsen is awesome as Hannibal.

I couldn't have said it…

I couldn't have said it better. Indeed, bravo!

I tend to think more like…

I tend to think more like blueheron and that Warde is probably more concerned about revenue than overall winning. Not to minimize the point that by winning more, UM football will generate more revenue, or that Warde doesn't care at all about winning.  However, Warde is in charge of the entire Athletic Department.  I think the salary he paid Jim Harbaugh, although it doesn't match our expectations in his winning percentage, particularly against our rivals and in bowl matchups, is providing enough revenue that he will likely sign him to an extended contract.

The likelihood of finding someone of Saban, Dabo, or Meyer's ability to win, is small to none. So, until the revenue from Michigan football starts to decline to some point that only Warde knows, I suspect we are going to keep Harbaugh until he decides to step down on his own.

I've been a fan for over 30…

I've been a fan for over 30 years, much of that time feeling that in any given year we could beat Ohio State and play in a good bowl game. Since Lloyd Carr retired I've slowly lost hope that our team will be any more than ok.  I don't believe Harbaugh is going to compete with Ohio State or  field a team that will get into the College Football Playoff.

He just doesn't seem to be able to consistently recruit enough top players across all positions to acquire the depth needed to beat the best teams.  In addition, something seems off with his player development. Few skill players seem to ascend after getting into the program.  This long period of mediocrity has me directing my hopes elsewhere. I will still follow U of M and probably watch most of the games, but my expectations are not very high.

I think you need a good…

I think you need a good coaching and good recruiting. Texas and USC were able to get elite talent but still didn't do much with it.

Texas woes have to be on

Texas woes have to be on Coach Strong. Can you imagine a Harbaugh locker room where players are bitching about lack of effort from individual players, position groups, or coaches?   Inconceivable.  If you are not giving full effort, you don't play.  I think Coach Strong must be too soft.  If Harbaugh was in Texas with all that talent, and his meritocratic approach, you know they would be winnning.
