A few others My favorite breweries in the state are definitely odd side, Greenbush, and old nation. Also, one of the most underrated beers around is Gonzo's vanilla porter.
I support this I think M43 and Boss Tweed are two of the best non-barrel aged beers in the state. I also love their Bumpy Cake double brown Ale.
So awesome! Cromulent is probably their best So awesome! Cromulent is probably their best ipa... Wondering if that is what you took back.
I recommend it next time! Transient makes some I recommend it next time! Transient makes some great stuff.
Some of my favorites M43, Boss Tweed, and Bumpy Cake from Old Nation. Passion Dank Juice, Hazels Nuts, Hipster Brunch Stout, and Hop Gobbler from Oddside. Flavorful Five from Roak. Vanilla Porter from Gonzos Big Dogg. The Juice is Loose from Transient.
I rarely comment

I've actually been reading the blog for closer to 10 years...  I just don't engage very often and instead find myself talking to friend saying did you hear what (Brian, Ace, Heiko, TomVH, and so on) said?!

This made my week

I went to EMU for undergrad and am currently working on my PhD there as well. I have gone to a couple games this season and while there isn't nearly as much support as other football programs, it has been pretty exciting to see home attendance close to triple what it was last year. I recognize that still isn't saying much, but it's nice seeing them draw more than a high school team. Not to mention that the team is relatively competent which is a credit to Coach Creighton and his staff. This will be the first year that they (likely) make a bowl game in my lifetime. Gonna enjoy it while it lasts.

And yeah, we're totally better than Oklahoma.

Agreed

I was going to say the same thing! I appreciate the power of positivity!

I played softball with him

I played softball with him during a couple summers. I can definitely attest to his speed and he was probably the best player on the team as well. I had no idea that he was affected by this and this saddens me as he was a great person to be around. Though I did not know him as personally as others, I appreciate the piece and that you took the time to write it, Brian. RIP Teddy.

I also left this game early

I also left this game early with my dad but mostly out of his frustration... We heard the crowd erupt as we got back to the car and we knew we had missed something special.

I have never left a game early since then.
